Elemental Damage - JoeTang - 2010-12-15 steveg89 Wrote:The fact is, mages ARE NOT balanced after big bang. I and many other players have noticed that mages have the power of character 20-50 levels below them, and these are not comparisons based on wealth. Equally funded mages simply do far less damage per minute. Most classes have some type of multihit skill that generally does a fair amount and is spammable. Mages have 2 attack methods, relatively slow, powerful single hit skills, or 1.5 second charges of big bang to perform multiple hits. Either way, they get outdamaged by much lower characters of other class-types. Relatively slow compared to what? Because the only characters faster than Mages are Bow Masters and Night Lords. Elemental Damage - steveg89 - 2010-12-15 Well, cannon, hurricane, strafe, triple throw, etc. My point was that many other classes can perform a multihit skill as fast as our single hit skill. The difference being that their damage will be 3x or more the damage done by the single hit skill. Mages simply can't compete. The skills themselves may be fast, but I was talking simply about number of hits and damage per hits. Elemental Damage - Eos - 2010-12-15 One thread on this subject is enough. Go duke it out in the official announcement. http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=35988 |
