Bleach Manga thread (SPOILERS) - Mute - 2010-12-03

MetaSeraphim Wrote:[Image: isshidaarm.jpg].

Problem is where the hand falls.
look at the other arm, and arc it to where if his arm was staight his hand'd be straight against his person. the left hand would end up being lower than where you think is his right hand.

Also note that he carried his bag on his shoulder, and the bag is cut a little ways up from where the strap starts. Why?

Conclusion: his arm is severed and you guys are seeing something that isnt there.

Bleach Manga thread (SPOILERS) - Satellite - 2010-12-10

Hmm...

non-shinigami and non-hollow powers huh... Hyougaku comes to mind, but doubt it. I can't really catch what's going on in this new arc yet.

They suggested that these guys may have powers similar in nature to Orohime and Chad's in that they're just human rather than Shinigami or Hollow, according to Ryuken's theory.

Also, we've gone through six chapters of Bleach's new arc by now; and we still haven't seen Chad. In fact, Kubo hasn't even bothered to mention him until this chapter. Poor guy.

Just have to wonder what kubo has in store.

ALSO NOTICE HOW ISHIDA'S RIGHT ARM AREA IS NEVER SHOWN IN THIS CHAPTER? HE LOST HIS ARM THEORY IS LOOKING PRETTY SOUND RIGHT ABOUT NOW!

No. You're just not seeing things that are there.

Bad angles and Kubo not drawing it perfectly are causing you to believe his arm is gone when it's not.

Anyway, about this chapter. Orihime is so annoying, Rukia needs to come back. Chad finally gets talked about like he is actually still living. And Yuzu has a brother complex.

Bleach Manga thread (SPOILERS) - OB3LISK - 2010-12-13

I'm sick of people getting mortal wounds and then Orihime shows up and magically fixes it, it's as if you never got hurt at all.

I do believe his arm was severed, but it was recovered and re-attached, or Orihime fixed him.

Can't wait to see what Xecution us.

Edit: Okay nvm now I see it F3. Dam I'm disappointed.

Reread it, she never got the chance to heal him, nor get close enough to try to.

Bleach Manga thread (SPOILERS) - OB3LISK - 2010-12-16

You mean the uhm. The Shinigami King's royal guards?

Bleach Manga thread (SPOILERS) - Worthyness - 2010-12-16

I don't like how long it takes for Kubo to explain like 2 key things. It makes the manga feel REALLY slow. I mean i like the art and the characters, but it takes WAY too long for him to start up the story. But i guess since its the beginning of a new arc, it should be a little... slow?

For example: in this chapter he took the entire pages of the chapter (16-18?) to say:
1. Something happened to Sado
2. Ichigo is getting his powers back

It was more or less the same with the Aizen + Ichigo fight. it dragged on for WAY too long.

Bleach Manga thread (SPOILERS) - Lumancer - 2010-12-16

So, complete speculation, but since these guys seem interested in humans with powers, and since Ichigo's mere presence created Sado and Inoue's abilities... once they get Ichigo up and running again, do they want to use him as an ability factory or something? That might almost be interesting enough for me to NOT start screaming about this nonsense again... almost...

Bleach Manga thread (SPOILERS) - MrFry - 2010-12-16

Yep he was just slashed no lost arm it seems. And Yea its slow but I like it compared to the long drawn out aizen/arrancar fiasco

Nah I don't really think so. I mean, maybe, but:

1. How would mere humans even know about Shinigami powers?
2. *cough* If he was a real ability factory then all of Ichigo's classmates would get powers.
3. I'm pretty sure that the guy, the boss guy who led Ichigo into the apartment, has the "light" powers that owned Uryu. He really doesn't need a Shinigami.

It's possible Ichi's power could spill over onto others. That not-a-lesbian girlfriend of inoue saw ichigo in his reaper attire a few times, and during aizens invasion of the town that was partitioned into the soul society, those few seemingly useless classmates were able to move about and see Aizen. Maybe it's only those who are actually close to ichi that might get this residual power gift, but it's a theory.

Bleach Manga thread (SPOILERS) - CommanderJinn - 2010-12-16

Pretty sure that the new guys are all sub-shinigamis. Jugou had a sub-shinigami badge. It makes sense that they all lost their powers at one point in time but gained them back, so they want to get Ichigo's powers back too. Obviously Ishin also lost his powers, but he also obviously has them back now. And it's also obvious that the new group and Ishin are related.

AKA rehash of the Vizard arc. You have the leader (Shinji, Jugou), the loli (Hiyori, maid girl), you have the super calm guy (Hachi, Butler dude)

The captains said that this is the case. Anyone with lieutenant (vice-captain) rank has high enough reiatsu to effect the surroundings and the people of the real world. Ichigo has captain class reiatsu so it's not surprising that the people he hangs with have powers, or can see spirits. Now why Ichigo started to get reiatsu back anyways is beyond me, cause no body except for Ishin and Urahara (maybe Yoruichi too but we don't know if she's still in the real world or back in SS) has high enough reiatsu to leak out into him.

Ichigo still has his hollow half. After the whole Vizard ordeal he's gained mastery over it, and with his becoming the spirit of Getsuga to take down Aizen he lost his shinigami powers. I bet somewhere along the line those guys will say that they're hollows who've had their holes filled in, a.k.a. become whole.

I've long since fantasized with such a scenario.

Bleach Manga thread (SPOILERS) - CommanderJinn - 2010-12-16

I always thought the hollow half mixed with the shinigami half completely during the final getsuga. Which is why tensa zangetsu looked the way he did when fighting ichigo. I mean I could argue that the hollow half only appeared after Ichigo lost his powers the first time. He was still a Shinigami before he was half hollow. So the hollow half was derived from the shinigami half. The hougyoku proved that hollows and shinigami are just 2 faces of the same coin, which is why they can have each other's powers.

Bleach Manga thread (SPOILERS) - Mute - 2010-12-16

The hyogoku is just a silly macguffin. Hollows have powers that shinigami's cannot access, and vice versa. You can chalk that "two sides of the same coin" to aizen just giving his villanous monologue.

The way i interpreted the final getsuga was that he had gained mastery over his hollow half, but not the sword, so the hollow-half and the sword half conspired to get him the mastery over it.
