There is no chat bar anymore. It's like your screen has gotten smaller. You can't use any keys. The only thing I could do was use the mouse. I would've posted a screenie but scroll lock didn't work either. Basically the whole bar below is gone. So you don't have access to your hp/mp/exp, cash shop button, mini skill board and such. The only way through which you can communicate with others is rightclicking them and trading them.
