"I'll stop you, no matter what it takes. Even if it ends in my death."
He begins to move towards the other man, whose mouth is stretched into an shockingly wide smile, only to fall before he can land the first punch. A crimson wave of blood splashes on the ground, only to be wiped away by the rain. Someone, covered in darkness, makes their presence known nearby.
"I wish you wouldn't be so messy, you know. It could end... badly... if you continue to be careless."
"Hmph. Let's just get back quickly, then. Ok, Pops?"
The two disappear into the night. And so begins this tragic tale...

BTA Town. A place full of lights and amusement, of darkness and sorrow, of life and death. Each citizen is given not a name, but a number, as is the custom in the towns of this time period. In this case, their numbers are added to the name of the town's founder, BTA.
Today, one of those citizens has been found dead in the streets, having been shot in the heart the night before. As the townspeople stare at the body in shock, one finally attempts to organize the people.
BTA 25, the town's best journalist, known for his dedication to finding the truth, stands on the steps of the town meeting hall and shouts, "The elderly BTA IV, descendant of the town's founder and our current mayor, has been killed by those rotten evildoers who have menacing the town for the past few weeks. Simply standing here and staring will get nothing done; let's meet back here in an hour to discuss this."
The crowd breaks, and an hour later, only 14 people are in the meeting hall. It seems that the rest of the town fled upon discovering that a murderer may be about.

BTA 25 finds himself leading the group again, this time pushing for revenge. "They killed one of us, so we'll fight back. Desperate times call for desperate measures... The killer and their allies must certainly be among us, so I propose that we lynch one of our own."
The townspeople break out into conversation, arguing whether this is the right thing to do or not. They decide that something must be done, but if enough people vote not to do anything, the others must agree.
And so, Day 1 begins. Result PMs will be out shortly. Day 1 ends at 4:00 PM EST tomorrow; it is 4:23 PM currently.

It's far better to rng vote for several people than to no lynch since that tells us absolutely nothing about anyone. And I have no basis for picking Meta other than rng so yeah.

I personally hate the idea of RNG voting. It's plain idiotic. What we need to do right now is do whatever is needed to get a RNG kill, because that's our biggest chance of actually hitting a mafian.
