Haha. A fair claw to give them would be around 14 attack, as 35 attack is typically around the attack of a level 15-20 weapon, and the level 20 claws are 14 attack. Even using Subis, and no glove, a sin with this claw would have 50 attack at level 10.

Level 30 with some funding (you see this pretty often with sins anyway)
Nicely done. Lol, XBows still win at max damage at level 30. Yay crits. Be prepared to see the max damage of sins with those equips using that claw rocket to ~6k once they max Crit, though. Without attack pots. Sins with really nice equips and that claw might be able to 2hko at Voodoos in mid-4x, assuming level difference won't play a major role.

O ok, so its just a new way of having event weapons. Kinda cool then, except for the fact that the other class weapons suck.

Actually, the quest doesn't take anything near the hyper glyphs, it took me about 20 minutes to do it... Orange Mushrooms, Stumps, Pigs, Ribbon Pigs and Slimes drop the items needed. I could have done it in 10 minutes if I went to perion to hunt Stumps, since henesys doesn't have many of them, I took about 10 minutes to get the items they drop.
It's pretty obvious they didn't have a clue about what they were doing, they wanted to make all weapons equal, they just completly forgot about how sin's damage is based. Also, in bMS official forum, tem moderator says the stats are temporary. I think this is stupid, instead of fixing the damage, they're going to take everyone's items (including bows, wands and swords, from what I understood). Not that the other items are that good, it just shows how they are completly clueless about maple story.

Releasing a "unfair" item to the game doesn't necessarily mean a company is bad. It just mean the don't know anything/much about the game. If they ignore the customers' satisfaction, then I'd call them a bad company.

Yeah, a guess "bad" is too broad of a term.
Didn't BMS remove GOPQ so a guild wouldn't be leveling quickly anymore, but wasn't everyone in the guild over level 70 or something?
If I recall properly, the community was outraged and they ignored them O_o.
