Big Bang Is In the Air - SlayerZach - 2010-10-13 Looking forward to Tespia opening. *looks around for a certain italian* I just hope Nexon doesn't, as some people believe, leave any skills unchanged. :^| Big Bang Is In the Air - Aggravate - 2010-10-13 Let the madness [ksing] of 999k Ultimates begin! Big Bang Is In the Air - Kalovale - 2010-10-13 Sarah Wrote:Clearly means that ultimates won't be getting a cooldown. It won't work with the fat lazy American market. Hahaha. ![]() Also, > It will save us a lot of time down the rode lol'd Seriously though, I'm calling that there's no changes aside from whatever they may decide to do with World Tour. Big Bang Is In the Air - donovan - 2010-10-13 I wonder if they will release all of Big Bang at once, they said before the end of this year, which could simply mean they will start Big Bang, but the following 2 patches could happen in Janaury, another option is 1 patch after the Thanksgiving Events, with the following 2 coming in December, I really want Battle Mages before next year .
Big Bang Is In the Air - Jamie_Kurosawa - 2010-10-13 This all is just more hype, bullshit, and rumors IMO. Seriously, the community isn't full of dimwits anymore. If anything, I don't even see Compatibility being addressed at all. Big Bang will come and more stuff will get broken, more glitches will surface, more bugs will plague everyone, and God help the Vista/7 and x64 users because from the looks of it all, we won't be able to play worth a damn if even at all. And to all those foolish people who think Big Bang will fix everything... Barrack Obama didn't pay everyone bills now did he? So guess what? Nexon ain't gonna fix everything either! Big Bang Is In the Air - ¬Rob - 2010-10-13 SlayerZach Wrote:I just hope Nexon doesn't, as some people believe, leave any skills unchanged. :^|Only skill I want left is the change of ownership of AM summons. I want to keep my Elquines. T-T CD ults, don't care, I only want to keep my summon. XD But yeah, looking forward to how BB will be for all the stuff we have and kMS doesn't. Big Bang Is In the Air - Chameleonic - 2010-10-13 Polka Wrote:"down the rode" I laughed at that too. Quote: During our discussions we’ve identified balance changes that may need to be adjusted. Some features may not be brought over at all because they’re incompatible with some element of Global MapleStory or don’t work within the North American Market. Now nothing is set in stone yet and we’re still working on finalizing the list of changes for the Big Bang. Just watch them NOT implement the new lower EXP curve just so they can keep selling 2x Cards. I cant see how anything in the KMS BB update isnt compatible with the American Market. That comment does make me worry about what they are going to do to stuff things up... Big Bang Is In the Air - VirgilDiablo - 2010-10-13 if they pineapple this up for me i swear to god i'm going to peach and rant on youtube and post it. i promise you this southperry community. Big Bang Is In the Air - GunisBack - 2010-10-13 Nexon Wrote:All the changes coming in Big Bang will make the game even better, anyone playing MapleStory now will be able to see and experience things that later Maplers never will! Enjoy the Halloween and Thanksgiving events, take lots of screenshots and video, go to your favorite secluded hunting spot, run classic PQs, and make the most of what MapleStory is right now! When the Big Bang comes, youre the ones who will have gotten it there! They make it sound like we've been playing a beta for 7 years... Big Bang Is In the Air - Fumni - 2010-10-13 Chameleonic Wrote:I laughed at that too. They should focus only on implementing all the KMS changes and not toy around with keeping any old features. Otherwise, this won't be a big bang; it will be a partial detonation. I also share the concerns being expressed. Big Bang Is In the Air - Chameleonic - 2010-10-14 I also think it is a mistake for Nexon to start hyping BB 4 months before it will be released. If they knew that they didnt have a release date(and they still dont as of the blog post) then all I see is things turning negative and against them. One month would have been plenty of time for them to hype BB, 4 months and the excitement could turn to frustration, anger or apathy, plus a lot have already stopped playing in anticipation of BB...thats got to have some effect on Nexon's revenue. Big Bang Is In the Air - Combattente - 2010-10-14 Quote:Look for us to reopen Tespia this Fall and ask you for lots of basic testing to ensure that no existing systems are broken. Thanks Nexon, that's all I needed to know. Quote:We Can’t Do It Without You! Good to know they realised that. Anyways, I wonder what the features which will be left out will be. Big Bang Is In the Air - SwordStaker - 2010-10-14 I don't think what they said means they won't leave anything about the Big Bang out. I think it means that things from other versions won't mesh 100% when Big Bang first hits us(excluding the stuff we already have) but meaning that and new WT areas will not come until said version has Big Bang. Big Bang Is In the Air - MetaSeraphim - 2010-10-14 Chameleonic Wrote:I also think it is a mistake for Nexon to start hyping BB 4 months before it will be released. What does it matter when Nexon started hyping it up? Big Bang was hyped up the moment Fiel did that damnable extraction. Big Bang Is In the Air - Abysseon - 2010-10-14 Sarah Wrote:North American Market = lazy people. Lazy people = hate to work. Hate to work = no tolerance for inability to spam. I guess that Tespia will have some changes to allow more participants/longer duration in order to keep player's interested until Big Bang's release. Big Bang Is In the Air - SwordStaker - 2010-10-14 Abysseon Wrote:True, but the cooldown was made for a reason. Even NA Nexon has an understanding of balance... >.>This sorta goes by logic. People will argue "Oh NEXON has no logic!" Every time I see NEXON take something directly from Korea it's almost not touched at all or VERY slightly touched to where theres hardly anything to complain about. I doubt the skills will be left out or even have a slightest change in them. I think what they mean by this whole article is that GMS is so different than KMS that so many more changes will have to be made to fix our version so that its not 100% broken. EDIT: NEXON Wrote:Changes to skills, EXP curves, maps, PQs, UI, and mobsI think that proves nothing will be left out. EDIT2: I don't know about that Jamie. They didn't mention it it was sorta ninjaed in there. Unless I'm reading wrong they said the entire coding has to be written from the ground up0.o Big Bang Is In the Air - Chameleonic - 2010-10-14 Oh yeah, after readig this my prediction for the first part of BB is now December 31st.
