I hate Miranda with a burning passion. it's her passive ability at max that is the only redeeming factor to her for me. "Hello sir, this letter's come for you." - Sorien - 2010-10-14 I came into this thread expecting a hilarious screen shot of a terrible letter or obvious scam. I have to say that this is a lot more interesting, I can't wait to see what the next bits are, Mute!

"Hello sir, this letter's come for you." - Mute - 2010-10-20 Locked Wrote:>Go to door, listen to the man's story, then slam the door in his face. Recovering from the revolting ham, cheese, and pickle sandwich, you decide to go see who is at the door. As you get up to go to the foyer, you look over at Morgan. "Just mail it, i don't care what those people have to think about the stains on it." "Very well sir, I will go get an envelope." Morgan leaves the room, and you start to walk to the front door. When you get to the door you peek through the peephole to see who it is standing outside the door. Right as you put your eye to the hole, the man outside leans forward and pounds hardly onto the door, the shock of which startles you and causes you to poke your eye on the hole. You shout out in pain, then open the door slightly, peering out through the door. "Hey, Sammy! It's me, Holliday! C'mon, let me in I've something I wanna talk to you about." Your younger brother stands at the door, a great big grin on his face. He's wearing a long duster coat and black fedora, with an expensive looking suit. He's carrying what looks like a case of beer and a notebook in his one hand. "Go away Holly," you start, the annoyance obvious in your tone. "I'm busy with other things right now. And by the way, learn to knock properly you idiot." You lean back, grasp firmly onto the door, and throw it shut with all the strength and anger you can muster, but it doesn't close. You hear a loud, sharp yell coming from outside, and see that Holly was able to slide and jam his foot in the path of the door. Then you hear the case of beer he was carrying fall to the ground, and as the door swings open you see him starting to fall backwards onto the ground. Inside, you laugh at his misfortune. "Damnit Sam, what the hell'd you do that for?!" he shouts over at you. His composure, which was at first cheerful and warm, was now violent and intense. He gets back to his feet, and dusts off his coat and picks up his hat. You lean against the doorway and look out at him. "Listen, sis wants you to come back home. There's been an emergency in the family and she thinks it'd be a good idea to have the three of us together." You look down at him, and... > Invite him in. > Cut him off. > Let him finish his story. sorry, i tend to get my ideas jumbled. trust me i hadnt forgotten this thread, but what to do was escaping me. ironically it was me falling recently and delivering a letter was what gave me this idea. so, im rolling with it.
