I think Lex, the boss, will drop the Hyena mount in the rare rate after you defeat him.
Also, I don't think the potential scrolls work on Lex's Earrings, because they said "Tablets and Chaos/Clean Slate Scrolls can be used on them."

I got another one for 30m, but all the others were like 40m+.
