@Everyone, the AGF (or me and bluebomber) are the orig writers, we post our work on basil exclusively because sleepy hates us xD. We should move our work to SP though.
Either way, I relieze the math is outdated (back then the firing rates were indeed different), and there isn't any 4th job, but it nevertheless is a great guide to choosing your class.
I think it'd just be funny if someone bans Sum for making a thread linking to another thread on a different forum, seeing how that's what Fiel did on SW, and started a new forum because of that. It'd just be totally ironic =P

I thought it was only banned on SW. And who cares about SW? They banned basilmarket and SP that's their loss. Wouldn't be surprised if paranoid Ardura banned mapletip and hidden-street as well. As if his website should be the only one with info, psh.

Why would basil ban SP? That's weird, seeing how basil hates SW (yet doesn't ban SW).

The topic at hand is that this thread should infact not be closed, because I believe that the bow v xbow has the right to be on SP, and there's nothing wrong with it being linked there from basil.
Seeing how the owner of the material is fine with it being posted elsewhere (I'm sure blue's fine with it, where is he btw?), the forum readers just need to agree this is helpful, then it should have every right to stay.

It seemed to "work" for most people (like over 80%) and I'd insist that it was "magic". These cases I dunno.
And unless your browser doesn't accept cookies (you can tell), it's not randomized after the first time.

i think it has some sort of IP log where the cookie remembers the first choice you got
so it "forces you" to choose that one you got the first time...
if you want to try again, use another computer or proxy =b
but what's the point anyway, you already chose your class lol
it was made for those lvl 29 who couldn't decide which way to go and made those stupid threads about bow vs crossbow

The only reason it still exists is because everything but the math section is still fairly valid. I've been meaning to write a new one, but unlike with the current one where I had a ton of 3rd job experience with both bows and xbows, and had another person who had similar experience helping me, I have 0 experience in 4th job other then observation.
Thus, inorder for me to accurately rewrite the guide, I will need someone else to write the 4th job sections. I'll probably start the rewrite this October, after all my college apps and SAT2's are over with.
Either way, I still don't know how to get around the problem that now xbows are stronger, and the same speed as bows. Mathematically, until 4th job, xbows>bows. IA is now stronger then bomb, and more useful at lower levels, so how exactly do I make bows seem equal? Are they still equal before 4th? Seriously, did Nexon think SoA was that amazing that they made rangers subpar sub4th? rawr.
