I think it's ridiculously irresponsible. He's old, he might die, and if he wins we have a good chance of having someone who has been governor of Alaska for just over a year with no national experience be president of the country. Not what I was looking for in a McCain VP pick.

People complaining about "lack of experience", but this person has served much more time in the executive branch than Obama, than Biden, more even than McCain (protip: all of them- aside from her- are at a whopping 0). I almost want to call you all out as sexists, because quitefrankly, that is the only logical problem I can see anyone having against her that is not an inherent property of other folks on the tickets.

Incidentally, could you cite a source on your claims about the child with down syndrome? Perhaps it is these wikipedia bandits again, but I'm not seeing anything of the sort here, and frankly, the burden of proof always falls on the one making unverified claims.
