Mine isn't so extreme, but I have gone completely weak in the knees climbing a sort-of-suspended staircase at the Singapore National Stadium around 6 years ago. It extended up to around 2 to 3 floors above ground level, and you could see the first floor looking down...
I literally had to drag myself up the rest of the stairs by pulling on the railings.
@FrozNite: I believe a phobia is an extreme fear that will typically either paralyze/immobilize the person or simply make him pass out. Yours seems to be more like a dislike than a phobia (or even a regular fear).

Finland is right next to Norway, west-north of Russia. Capital city is Helsinki. HELL it's not that difficult.
