The potential system already pushes LUK mages a little forward. With good INT% gear they can get almost on par to LUKless mages now, since all that matters now is INT (1 INT=1 M.ATT).
But with Big Bang, INT isn't as important, LUK also adds damage, and M.ATT works completely different. LUK equips get you better %INT/LUK stats, which account for higher damage. The only LUKless thing that's gonna remain useful are the Elemental weapons, and maybe the Maple Magician Shield, since it's pretty high leveled for a shield.

But even post BB, it's much less than INT. Exactly a quarter, actually. INT also adds more to Magic Accuracy than LUK, although we still don't know what it does.
With how rare it is to get a specific stat bonus on Potential Scrolls, I don't think Luk or even low luk mages will be common. On paper, getting 18% or more INT from each equip sounds nice, but in reality you'd better off entering the lotto. Unless you have a few thousand dollars to burn on NX Cubes. Then you're set. With low probabilities, getting even a generous +9% per equipment using Lukless or very low luk gear would over power the Luk Mage because of the Lukless's raw INT.
kMST had free Cubes. Everything there is holypomegranatewhatthepineappleisthiscrap godly, and shouldn't be expected to sneak into official servers on even Merchants' gear.

Yeah, I have multiple 70+ chars on one account, so I guess logging on twice, or maybe thrice would be the solution. Not that it makes any difference because I could see Nexon ceasing these when we log back on.

Anyway I already have 42 total LUK on my LUKless Bishop, and haven't got my Black Belt and other stuff I need to get. So LUKless/LowLUK with mid-level LUK armor would be the best, huh?
At least I'm still able to reset 3 points from STR/DEX... I created my Bishop back when you rolled a dice. =')

Post big bang MA is worth more than int. So trying to equip the lvl 120 staff is better than a maple wand.

That's how it's supposed to work, so I'm inclined to say yes. Every cash shop item that is gifted works like that, so why wouldn't it.

Scrolling the maple item is easier so there will be a smaller gap than clean mAtk difference. Mages also have pomegranate tons of magic attack, so the addition of 20 on top of 200 isn't nearly as noticeable a gain as the addition of 20 wAtk on a Night Lord's range. All the easier to make up for with mass-scrolling cheap, easy to produce, Lukless gear.

Same for me, I'm going to avoid going in cash shop and level my marksman up. ten days isnt enough for me to get 4 levels

Hmmmm, i wonder how much i can wash my Bucc. Had a zhelm and dep star since 50 and its 129 now. It may be worth resetting some points in and out if i get a lot of resets.

This is why saving up unused AP is a smart idea. I had 130 AP saved on my Aran and was able to wash 20 times. I had 155 AP on my BM and washed 33 times before I ran out of MP.

Rather funny for me, I've been saving up on AP for my Paladin since 170, so when this patch hit I had 50 unused AP and I used 35 of it for HP washing, I just hope Nexon didn't fix this during the SC so I can get the 30-50 package and Wash 10 more points.

It seems the unlimited AP resets got fixed with the unscheduled server maintenance?
Before the maintenance, they kept asking me if I wanted to collect the free resets everytime I logged into a character, and I denied most of them because I wasnt entirely sure what was going on.
Well I accepted the free resets on my main before the server maintenance. I logged in just now and they're no longer asking my alts if they want to collect free resets, so I guess they fixed it =[
