Now I'm curious... But what seems to trigger this thing? I haven't seen it yet.

Maybe it's from logging from the game without the website? Anyone?

For me they were both without using the website. Also, it was the first character (both time and possition-wise) of each account that wound up getting these messages. I'll try again tonight after midnight on all my characters to see if I win any more and see if there's a pattern beyond that.

EDIT: Over-anticipated win rate by quite a bit. Obviously if I get good luck, it can't be constant. IE did it, got nothing this time around.

I never turn on MS with the website, but I haven't gotten a single prize so far. And I've logged out at least 10-15 times on multiple characters by now. My brother got a prize, though. Too bad he won it on a character he was deleting. Goggleemoticon

i always start without using the website since i like to change accounts a lot ( i don't have all my characters on one account. it's safer that way). I've logged on using MULES. those are the ones who got the prizes (not really since it said i'd get them in 3 days and i still have yet to get them.)

Did anyone who actually won actually finish the following quest properly where the maple admin said you could win another prize? I realized this in retrospect after I talked directly with the maple admin after the third day. You had to talk with her between two and three days supposedly in order to receive another prize.

Granted, if this works, this event seems a little unfair. X Character on X account wins multiple times if it was chosen and others get nothing for not being chosen from the start. ... Wait, for that matter, has anyone won after logging off from a character that they had logged into at least once before after the patch not winning those times? I'd like to know whether all the winners were pre-determined at the start of the patch.

I have two accounts. The one I won the prize on was my more inactive account. I've logged several times on my other account (the active one) and I've gotten nothing. LongShot, I think you're right, each account was probably predetermined to get something or not. I don't know if this has any correlation with activity on the account or not, though.

I made a brand new account 2 nights ago and got my char to lvl 10 and i won on that account. So i don't think the winners are pre-determined

I got it on all 5 of my accounts and bought a lot of things from the Cash Shop.

On all my accounts, I got the items the first time I logged off.

I think that people that will win get it on the first log out, else they are probably not going to win.

Finally finished the quest afterwards properly. Had to be exactly between 48 and 72 hours to do. All I got on both accounts was a usable 2x drop permit that lasts 1 hour, can be used any time, does not expire, and is untradable. After finishing the quest, there were no further quests/gifts.

Nexon gave me three Karma Scissors Big Grin What's depressing is that its on a storage mule account with nothing to karma -_- I wish this was on my main account.

A notice for those who get that permit. The description lies, it only lasts 30 mins.

I got it on my bowmaster on the first log out. However, it took multiple logouts on my sister's ring mule before I got it (was not logging out just to get it...just logging out when finished/transferring pots and whatnot). Seems random and not pre-determined to me.
