Even I'm a bit skeptical on why they did this and others so late in the anniversary, but now's a better time than f'ucking later, that's for sure. I didn't waste my time earlier with these bosses since they d/c'd so much, but now it's good potential to ks for weapons.

If you honestly think Nexon did this "just because they felt like it", then you are being blatantly ignorant.
I think a very plausible scenario is that they already had the Gaga's ship thing mostly translated and ready, and weren't planning on whipping it out until later this summer (June or July update is my guess). However, when they felt that people were getting really bored of the event (Summoning was only happening in Henesys and occasionally Leafre on Yellonde. It was the epitome of a lame anniversary) and that they were most likely losing profit as a result, they decided to pull this update on us. If what you are saying is that they were "planning" on waiting to release this update until later is just stupid. Why would they risk losing profit? Why would they wait? Probably because they thought people would be satisfied with what they had started with (quite the contrary) and/or that it looked good on paper.

First i never assume they did that as a plan, though it may be lickly, I never once brought that up as a suggestion nor was it implied within my writting. The "joke" was directed towards the "outcry" portion of the poster I quoted. It was joke about how "our outcries" do very little (not that outcries can't work, but the way the general MS audeince "outcries" is deplorable to say the least... I'll get inot that if you wish, but I'd rather not since we'd both probably be "warned"). You even say yourself "that they were most likely losing profit as a result" so I don't see what you jump to the conclusion that we saved the anniversery through an outcry of detressed.
and lastly... did you really not catch the fact it was a bloody joke >.>

our big problem is some retard comes and donates a couple thousand of whatever is not winning and ties them up so we have no idea who's going to go (defending team always loses)

i don't know about other servers but in khaini it's impossible to defend even on the best days. too many channels. but i like it because it really evens things out (i switch between a cake character and pie character based on who will win). the only complaint i have is that they should've made it so donating summons the opposite boss. that would make people donate more often, rather than when it's just getting close.
otherwise this was a really well done event (besides the fact that i never leave henesys or leafre now)

The defending town almost never wins in Bellocan. Except when it's summoned in either Orbis or Magatia, Magatia for sure, I watched just today as Pie was summoned in Magatia and not a single one was killed.

I am doing this on two characters trying to get both the chairs on them. I am on Pie team and she is on Cake team so it actually helps me earn more insigs on the both of them.

I have been spending more time in the Mushroom MD thanks to this event than I ever want to admit. At least thanks to a few key drops it's made it worth my while.
