Just tested the storage trick. You can no longer stack them.
It still allows you to transfer them over though.

i think you put more than one in storage then click arrange item to stack them.

Yeah that's the hint i took as well. They want the bossing to be more party oriented, but pap is such a toy now this isn't enough to make it happen..
