About the guardians, They were awesome, to the mages crying about not being able to kill them easy: Get the pineapple over it, we have alot of maps to train on. I think the guardian is a small nice treat for warriors. They do need to fix the HolyShield30 bug though.

The new swear system is alot cooler, i'm happy to see those popups gone.

I havn't had a chance to check out the new pet commands.

Overall, This is one swell patch we have recieved. I can't wait to see what else we get for Masteria.

About the swear system, what exactly do you mean? I just tried, and I can swear. Is this part of the new system.. or something? Someone fill me in >_>.

^ It looks like you're swearing, but to others, it's just a bunch of asterisks.

Anyway, I found CW to be a waste of my time.
Besides rushing stuff into people (cough, bigfoot), I died six times, fell seven times, got lost ten times, and racked up 0.2% while getting twenty HS 30 mastery books before going back to the FM and spamming at my friends again.

It was nice but it seemed a little like the Haunted House because of the mazes.

I do not approve of the spawn rate of Phantom Trees.

I hate the drop rate of most etc items but overall the expansion was quite good (exploring the new areas wa sure fun =D)

The quests annoy me, and big foot is really, really glitchy, but otherwise it's alright.

If they fixed Bigfoot and I was level 140 instead of 112 I'd be much happier I'm sure.

I'm happy about it being a somewhat high leveled area, and the guardian map is awesome, to bad I'll never be able to train there, but it looked good for heroes..

Honestly, the biggest annoyances are... The quests all being collect 30 insanely rare items or collect 50 somewhat rare items from insanely slow spawning monsters, and the typhoons being impossible to kill because they super KB you two maps back.

Shadow Webbing BF was fun, If they changed it then.. Sad I didn't get on my NL after SC I just trained on Yellonde, but did they change anything in the SC. Anyways I Liked it.

The quest items are insanely hard to get.
Most of the monsters are too hard for me...I can only decently hunt two.
The music is sweet, though.
The maze was a pain in the butt.
Besides from 8+ deaths (had 0%, luckily) I have to say it's alright.
Wish there were some more weaker monsters, though.

the quest etc are gonna take a LONG time to gather >.>

and bigfoot spawn location is annoying... and elderwraith touch is WAAYYY too high...

but i managed to kill bigfoot with kurai ^^ and gained back 1% >.> out of the 14% i lost ... *sigh* and died once more from elderwraiths cuz of lag...

and i'm STILL lost in the maps...

Was CrimsonWood as good as you expected? - randompeep - 2008-08-15

lost all 60% in there. >.> I know I'm 4x but that's still no small amount.

Thanks Tongue

It wasn't that great for me, but i'm 4x.

I thought it could be a lot better..

For instance, people between like.. 5x-10x-ish got nothing :/

And all the monsters seem to be immune/resistant to something

haven't even attempted exploring, with the exception of my level 2. My main currently has 60% so i'm really not thinking it's worth trying to go to the keep with risk of dying. (losing 7% is not fun, especiallywhen it takes me forever and a day to even get 7%)

I'll soon explore when I level to 101. =P maybe kill something hree or there. or at least try to do the old NLC quests for the warrior throne xD (yeah still haven't gotten those done yet. I have to now in order to get that penadnt =D)

Just FYI, i couldn't get my level 2 past the stormknight thingies the map before the JQ... Stupid elder wraiths auto targeted me and i died ><

If the etc's droprate was higher, I would love it. Smile

(surprised by no sin comments on cilbi beaters) I'd say it was alright. Especcially the Hax0r drop ratesGlitter

Was CrimsonWood as good as you expected? - FelixTM - 2008-08-15

It's considerably worse than I was hoping for. Nexon really isn't good at making their own quests. If you are going to have a low drop rate item, you have to have a good map to hunt it. Almost all of the quests require items that drop very rarely from monsters that aren't the easiest to hunt (especially the trees). However, the quests are doable. It's the forging of the Crimson items that annoys me. I really wanted the Arclancer...but WTH is needing all that Crimson Wood (300??) and other insane amounts of items?? The trees that drop it are even harder to find than the ones in the Phantom Forest.

I do find it humorous, though, how bad Nexon America is at creating quests/forging requirements (remember Taru weapons? lol?).

Final Note: CREATING A "CONTINUED" VERSION OF QUESTS ISN'T A GOOD IDEA. NOT EVEN A LITTLE. IT'S FREAKIN' RETARDED. I LOVE QUESTS...BUT I DO NOT NEED TO DO THEM TWICE JUST TO GET THEM OUT OF MY LOG.

kthx
