Our power was out from around 6:30 PM last night to 10 AM this morning.

I had a charged PSP, so that was ok.

Then I was forced to play Apples to Apples Junior.

NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO PLAY THAT GAME. ;_;

Oh wah wah wah, god, this is why I sometimes hate watching the news. The only event going on is your bloody 2-3 foot snowfall. I've lived with 2 feet of snow on the ground for the past 3 months. I suppose the main problem lies in certain city's unpreparedness for these situations since you rarely deal with snow that doesn't immediately melt 1-2 days later. The majority of Northeast America is around +4 Celcius, so I don't believe that snow will last an awful long time, maybe 1-2 weeks. If your city infrastructures were simply better equipped to handle such storms, then nobody would be bitching.

Just a random Saskatchewanian's comments though. Or as I call your storm, "a light dusting".

I always consider it funny that this tends to happen all the time over there, and noone really do anything about it. "Oh let's close school and stuff".

IN NORWAY, ON THE OTHER HAND, WE ARE PREPARED FOR 3 FEET SNOW OVER THE NIGHT.

Norway gets almost as much snow as Canada... :/ They probably have pet Polar Bears to ride to school with anyway: If not, then viking ship sleds.

Normal winter in the centre of Norway.

If it snows more in Norway, there would be nothing to take pictures of. Everything would be white. srs

Clearly you spend little time in Canada: They get twice that. Easily.

Never been there. Sad

Also lol @ cleaning up all the snow. NYC's definition of cleaning up snow is pushing it up on the sidewalks to right off the intersections. You have to climb a mountain of snow to cross the street!

If Bloomberg was snowed in, I would be so happy.
