In defense of one fetish of mine, i have a habit of making off handed and ill timed comments that more often than not have absolutely no relevance to the issue at hand. it is both an annoyance to me in that it makes me seem more of a socially inept nitwit, which i agree that i am, but i also enjoy making an ass of myself to the extent that it gives me bulletpoints on areas which i need to improve.

well if i take my time and think before i speak, normally it works out fine, except for when i want to think of something at that moment i cant, but 5 minutes later, BOOP, it all pops into my head.

and one thing that i cant change is claustrophobia in large groups. ive tried to overcome it, but nothings worked.

Well, claustrophobia ... thats hard, its not something you can change in a daw, week, month or year... it takes time...

And about your problem, if you can't think about what to say, don't say anything, that works for me, let the other people lay the subject and follow it, rather than force your way with your random words, might not be the most talkative person around this way, but at least you aren't annoying other people.

Slowly you might just reorder your ideas and judge faster what you're going to say is ok or not.

last part: its not what im about to say is right or not, its that i cant think of what i want to say. its like, i know it, but i just end up saying "yeah, and theres that thing that does that thing, you know?" or something to a similar effect, then later when that part is over i realize what i wanted to say, but its kinda too late. =/
