Must be your man-period. Or you're a werewolf... full moon tonight.

Excellent taste! Are you a huge fan of all of his work like me?

Have you read Gyo before?

Yes, of course. I've read a large amount of his work. Every one that's been translated that I've been able to find.

On that note, I think I've even posted a GASHUNK here before. lol

I can never find anyone else who's really into his stuff. Then again, most people I give his stuff to are freaked out by his unique horror. I can't get anyone into stuff like this, so it's nice to find someone else who likes his work.

Do you have any manga recommendations that have a similar style? Franken Fran is good, but SnoopyCool seems to love taking up projects and leaving them to rot, while snapping at anyone who tries to pick up where they left off. Not that I can even find any raws for Franken Fran online anyway, if I did I could probably ask a group or two who are taking requests at the moment to work on it.

Well, there's definitely me. I'm a huge Junji Ito fan. He's probably even my favorite mangaka, not just in the horror/surreal genre. His is the only manga work I actively seek out. His style and stories are marvelous every time. I wish he had more longer works like Uzumaki. There's never enough!

Yeah, Franken Fran is awesome too.

Have you read any of Shintaro Kago's work? He's another favorite of mine. His stuff is a lot more "hardcore" than Junji's, but it's still brilliantly horror and surrealism heavy.

I've read Uzumaki, Gyo, and as much Tomo as I could find. Didn't realize he did Tomo til after I read it lol. His style and his taste of horror is really unique, which is what I like about him.

What else do you guys recommend that I can probably read online somewhere?

Greg Wrote:Herbert, do you save everyone's avatars? Or only the good ones?

I don't have a lot of bias when it comes to which ones I save, although I tend not to save ones that feature just plain ol' maple characters.

If you're active enough on Southperry, then chances are I have some of yours saved. But back when I started doing this I didn't save too many. Now it's at the point where I save someone's avatar as soon as I see that they changed it.

I just looked at my avatar folder's properties:

Size: 11.4 MB (11,965,132 bytes)
Size on disk: 21.0 MB (22,052,864 bytes)
Contains: 486 Files, 0 Folders

It's getting to the point where I should make sub-folders based on each person's collection, but it might be a little hard to do because I can't remember which avatar belongs to each person in every single instance.

Wow, you're an awesome guy Herbert. Can I get a .rar from that folder?

Because I also like keeping track from people's avatars. Problem being that I don't access SP from the same computer every time, and most of the time I'm on SP I'm at work. See.
