So, what do you think guys? would you say that, after this changes, Corsairs and Shadowers are "good enough" and doesn't need more changes for a while?

Corsairs were "good enough" without any changes. Shadowers, no idea, never played one.

I think they need to stop messing with the BS cooldown and fix Assassinate a little. Best thing to do would decrease the cast time a little bit (its 1.38 seconds for the first 3 hits, and 1.77 seconds if you want the 4th hit= WAY TOO LONG!) or to fix it so the 4th hit does not lunge but instead is used in place; that would help out at bossing in a major way. Outside of that, no complaints.

I think it's kind of cool with the lunge, though; how about if it just had some invincibility frames at the end?

If it had that you could pretty much spam Assassinate indefinitely until you're at the other side of the monster and then turn around and repeat.

I don't know how accurate that is, but if he's telling the truth, I'm going to quit my Viper permanently. There's no reason to play a class when it has no use other than giving buffs to people. Us Vipers are already at the bottom of the DPS chain, so if we really don't get an increase in DPS, I'm just going to make my Aran my main.

Same here. Unless buccs gain the ability to crit at bosses, then Arans will remain better versions of buccs. For now, the only time I use my bucc is for CWKPQ and shoo-ing off KSers.

It is cool at first, but it gets old fast. The lunging makes it impossible to use a bosses that include platforms (HT, PB, etc.) and even when we can, it is a pain to move back and forth because of it (and you lose time turning around, which means less damage).

You'd be hittable while using the attack again. I meant enough invincible frames at the end so you wouldn't get killed immediately as you land the attack (could also be applied to Assaulter).

Or, in DFO, there is a move called Palm Blast that normally lunges you forward, but gives you the option to use it in place if you hold the opposite facing direction while using the skill. Something like that would work. I wouldn't want to see the lunge completely eliminated, anyway.

Read more. We aren't b'itching about what others think of us. We're b'itching about us compared to everyone else.

"Play your class because of why you made it in the first place" is the stupidest s'hit i've ever heard, especially coming from a shadower/paladin/mage. Just because we want to be stronger because WE F'UCKING DESERVE IT does not in any way mean that we hate our class. With these changes buccaneers are literally at the very bottom of the melee DPS chain. How the f'uck is that balanced? Does nexon really think that time leap and SI are such valuable buffs that it can compensate for us being one of the weakest classes ? Of course they f'ucking can't. It's already happening before these changes are implemented. Justin isn't accepted already, so what's the f'ucking point?

If nothing else is changed to the bucc class i too will quit permanently.

That's something I would enjoy. Hold forward the throw yourself in stabbing position, or don't to just do a stab in place.

The current 4th hit looks awesome, but it's a pain in the ass. You just pray that Shifter or your high avoid kicks in when you get kicked into the monster.

As for my Buccaneer, all I ask is an increase in Energy Orb's range and speed. That's all that would make me happy, either of those.

The Bucaneer changes were alright i guess, but there should be something more than a buff to an ability that only lasts 50 seconds and an increase in an attack that really doesn't need too much more range. I agreee Bucaneers deserve a little more to their changes. I played a bucaneer just cause they had a lot more HP than my bowmaster, so that was all good. But i'd enjoy something more even if it's just making energy drain and somersault kick work properly in transform. I'm not too much of a damage whore but I'd like to be able to do decent damage at bosses in addition to our not-necessarily-necessary party skills.

Moving forward into monster when attacking = not fun at all. Arans do it and Buccaneers do it to an extent and it gets lightweight annoying.

Is it certain that all Corsair skills will now have no minimum range?
Because if so, then Corsairs will be even BETTER at zak soloing, if their ship is also being buffed. @_@
Actually being able to attack during the ship downtime with the summons still being there would be insane.
