Sn1perJohnE Wrote:Main reason why IE still has most of the market, is because all the papaya old people who have 10 year old desktop computers are afraid of change. And on top of that, most of them are using older versions of IE as well, ranging from 6 to current usually.

Probably the main reason that IE still has so much market share is schools and businesses led by those old people who don't know crap about different browsers. At my high school it was nearly impossible to get Firefox on a school computer without admin privileges, and I'm sure many cubicle-companies limit their employees to only IE as well.

Firefox > all.

I would use Chrome, but I need my addons.

I use Opera because FF takes up too many resources. I can't even run MS and FF together without my computer lagging.

Firefox is the primary browser on my system. When something doesn't work in Firefox, I use Chrome.

However, there are a very select few sites I use that will only work properly in IE 8, so for those I just create a shortcut to iexplore.exe on my desktop that point to those specific addresses.

So to break it up in terms of usage: Firefox (90%), Chrome (8%), IE (2%, only for sites that only work in IE)

EDIT: More specifically, what I used to make this post (user agent): Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
