Let me put some points:
-Too much alcohol screws everything up. Drink responsibly. If you dink too much, don't make it a habit. THAT'S when it's bad.
-There's a perfect point inbetween being a dull bored guy and a ridiculous clown. It's aiming.
-There's a few tips about how to get drunk faster or slower. Mixing different drinks through the night makes you get drunk faster and a worse hangover (Example, vodka+rum. Stick to one. Vodka is always good for starters.). Drinking too fast gets you drunk faster. Smoking and drinking also does, but I don't support smoking under ANY circumstances.
-A bit of alcohol, if controled, makes your kidneys stay active, being benefitial, making them purify better. That's why you get drunk not as easy if you are used to drink sometimes. Saturation is what destroys them.

Also, I agree with you for the smoking. I don't smoke and don't support it in any way. My parents do, though.

Even "key word controlled" I'm still skeptical of your claims above lol. If that were, that would be really interesting. I just did some searching myself and haven't found anything to support improved kidney function with alcohol. And yes your theory works for say, an allergy treatment, but it's not quite that generalizable.

What's fun is completely relative so it doesn't matter what any of you think, anyway. Taking that into consideration, your lobotomy comparison doesn't work because there aren't millions of people who agree and would back you up on how fun it is, unlike drinking.
