Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (violence isn't excessive, great story anyways)
Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha

Darker than Black (some violence, nothing too heavy though)

Full Metal Panic! (Shame on GMSInfighter for putting this with Naruto! *ragerage*)

The cliffhanger sucked, but overall, it is a noteworthy anime.
