You can always make a character meant for PvP, like a Battle Mage. Oh god them Battle Mages and their stupidly long reach and speed.

PvP takes practice. Make use of /info to make sure you're fighting opponents with comparable gear. Get avatars when you can. Stick to beginner/basic channels when you're learning; more experienced people in Practice channel will easily beat you.

Yay you're back Big Grin and yeah 3rd tiers lose their invincibility.

About witch pvp: Get dust (lvl 1 is fine), run around your opponent, then uppercut them (make sure you hold the up or down arrow to curve it). Once in the air just fly up and xxxx them. Manteau to stuff people running away/at you, EMM to stop people in a straight line, broom spin to kill someone in a corner. Toss around jackyl/lava/rain to piss people off. Bait them to come near you then use gravitas. Just doing this can get you through basic pretty easily.

It's still a bit iffy with beginner/basic channel, since many experienced people hang around there just to troll newer PvPers.
