Also something important to note, illusions only utilize base-damage and not bonus damage such as raw damage from rapiers.

Nah, I only bought my rapier at the very end of the game to try and rush their ancient since otherwise it was going to be a loss anyway, I never died and lost it. It turns out when I left my team's ancient he ALSO bought a rapier...which if I'd known I would've stayed to defend and hopefully force him to drop it or run away. I think his invis was also probably Shadow Blade like you said since he was using it far too often for it to be an invis rune, especially due to rune spawns being random. I also had no idea that illusions didn't benefit from bonus damage sources, that's why I thought when I bought rapier I'd be able to easily push and win.
Also in the video you posted this guy seems a little out of his depth against that Lone Druid because of Terrorblade's horrible starting HP. It did show me just how aggressive you can be in early game with Metamorphasis though and the way he used the illusion to pull creeps away from the tower or just trick the other team was pretty clever...but he seems to be dying a lot. Is that just normal for higher leveled matches? I mean he's trying to push the tier 3 tower on bottom lane at level 11 with no metamorphasis and doesn't even have drum or Sange and Yasha yet...and gets ganked for it. He tries it again with tier 3 mid and almost gets it but gets ganked again. I get that he's trying to push or just weaken the towers in general, but is it really worth losing gold and feeding the enemy? Then he just sort of...farms until he can buy Manta Style and Radience. I admit that's a good idea, since there's no risk of being killed in team fights, but it took him a long time to afford Manta Style in the first place, which seems to be what made his farming and general utility much better. So I'm not sure what to think! He seemed a little too aggressive until he got Manta Style, then he went passive and just farmed.

I didn't watch all of it myself but he might have had a bad game, also sange and yasha really isn't that great of an item on Terrorblade in general, especially because he needs manta-style and the movement bonus doesn't work from both items at once.
He was also solo off-lane which is a really bad lane in general for Terrorblade, which might definitely be the source of his extra amount of deaths. But yeah after looking through the game it might not quite be the best example since his team for the most part won him that game and he was just allowed to push and farm without too much trouble. But as said he was off-lane so he wasn't able to truly play terrorblade to his fullest potential, but it should still give some good pointers, like how you utilize illusions effeciently and so on.
Generally speaking terrorblade wants to just sit in his safe lane and farm safely without being troubled too much and then he just farms a bit and wins games.

Tried out 2 more heroes. Naga Siren and Treant Protector. It went...uh...interestingly. Lost my first match because my entire team abandoned and there was no way I could carry against a Bloodseeker, Viper, Huskar, Bane and Dragon Knight as Treant. Second match went well! http://dotabuff.com/matches/565770004 Their Legion abandoned but our Troll Warlord did nothing but feed so...guess that kind of evens things out. Third game we lost because Sand King wouldn't let our Slardar get any Last Hits, our Shadow Fiend (who was our only carry) abandoned and their Anti Mage got super farmed by end game. (They also had Sven and Lich which didn't make things easier.) But all in all I think he's my favourite support hero in the entire game.

She's squishy but if you go for Vanguard you delay getting stuff like Manta Style. If you buy Treads instead of Arcane Boots then you miss out on the mana that you need. If you try to fight with how squishy you are then you get destroyed. You have no real escape outside of song into TP scroll, and if you have no TP scroll then song isn't going to get you away from something like Slardar who will just catch up and stun you to death or Pudge who will just hook you back. I heard from a friend she was really hard but I feel bad just giving up on her.

I hate Treant in pubs, nearly as much as I hate Abaddon. Treant has no place in pubs unless you're with friends and in skype. You need your teammates to let you know when they need the heal, and that's never gonna happen so you gotta pray that your heals are there when needed. Besides, people are platypi so when you spam them in lane with shield, with either Treant or Abaddon, they won't man up for whoever knows what reason and you just waste mana. I hate playing those heroes.
Naga Siren is hard and it depends how you want to play it. She's either support or a split pushing carry, she can't fight early-mid game because she sucks early-mid game. She just has no damage. If you're playing her as support just go for Arcane Boots, Medallion, Mek/Urn of shadows and situatonally Force Staff/Blink or auras, such as Vlads, Drums of Endurance or Assault Cuirass if you're rich. Your job would be to initiate with song or the snare (which goes through magic resistance), set up team fights or damage control when you're losing a team fight.
Naga split push needs a great last hitter in the laning stage and good micro skills. If you want to make it work you need to farm Radiance in the first 20mins, then you farm the jungle and you split push with the illusions. From what I've seen lately the build goes boots>radiance> boots of travel>manta>diffusal/heart> bfly or whatever you think is necessary like mkb/linken's/abyssal blade. A bottle is useful but you need to micro yet another unit, the courier, to bottle crow until you stop having mana issues.
She's even hard to explain so don't take it as a "I give up" but more like "I'll give it another try later on".

Note that what he's doing, Naga mid, only works if you're radiant. If you're dire it's better to take top lane and farm there.

His steam profile was literally "This user hasn't set up a steam profile yet." It doesn't exactly help your self esteem when they purposely refuse to attack your towers or ancient and stand outside of your spawn to instantly gank you over and over to rub it in that you fucking suck and there's nothing you can do.

It sucks if you're getting people doing more "random"/retarded things than in normal mm, though, like carry Earth Shaker and stuff.
I lost most of my calibration games but I didn't let that demotivate me. After getting party rating I'm kinda careless about it... and I think it would've been better to just keep playing solo normal mm for a while more since the rating is basically the same but people aren't so harsh.

Just had an annoying game, 1 hour long because we could push high ground. Fucking Magnus+Tide Hunter is too scary. Spectre had nothing 40 mins in but those two made enough time and space for her to farm radiance and 20mins later she was almost 6 sloted -_-
I had lanes pushed at all times but I died like 5 times when I went anywhere near tier 3 towers. My team would stop pushing other lanes to join me though, they wanted team fights instead of baits that would allow one of us to take one lane. I should've communicated more and tell them to bait or let me bait more so that they could push... but like 50mins in we did it without communication
