Interesting. We have to wait and see then.

I'd rather not be riding around in mech suits. It seems kind of arbitrary.

*Face palm* look at it like this. Not everyone is freaking 120+ there are less than a couple thousand 4th jobbers in some of the less populated servers. The overwhelming majority of players are under 70. This pq enables them to have fun with their friends regardless of level, gear, hp, etc.....Tongue

Nexon did a very cool move with this stuff. FFS if meta is telling you how it is I think it's best you listen

[0.01T] The Ultimate Visitor - IsaacGS - 2010-08-10

Looking this over again my new concern is that there only appears to be one instance of the maps for a half dozen different difficulty levels. If that is really the case then odds are most of us won't even be able to try it the first day what with every player in the game converging on it at once.

They could have made it like the Balrog PQ, where depending on level you can go into different level pqs.

If this is fun, then great. I personally think it would be more fun if I could use my own skills in it.

[0.01T] The Ultimate Visitor - MetaSeraphim - 2010-08-10

Honestly, after having to spam the same skills over and over while killing or training it's really fun to do something different in the mech suits they give you.

But each person is going to have their own opinion about that so.

Can anyone elaborate on how this whole thing works? The quests can be done solo or party, correct?

And how do you obtain the VIP weapons/gear?

[0.01T] The Ultimate Visitor - Loose - 2010-08-10

So... this Phase 2 thing... where is it?

Ask Tespia testers Rolleyes

So, besides the PQ, or whatever instance this is, are there trainable maps?

No one knows yet. Besides myself I know of a few people that finished almost everything there was and did find anything out. Which leads me to believe that either it's going to come in phase 2/3/4/5/however many they do, or it's a super rare drop.

I feel like a lot of us (including me) were/are overlooking the good aspects of this patch (whatever they may be) and only focusing on what we dislike. Well, on a lighter note, there is one good thing to this patch:

Granted the new armor doesn't take ages to acquire, it will be a nice alternative to my other armor (that Zakum Helm is starting to become an eyesore). Plus, I have to admit, those new helmets look very appealing, especially that Lucky Visitor Helmet and the Powerful Visitor Helmet, and I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one. Out of this entire thread, I can't say I've heard anyone say anything positive about those new weapons either. They look fantastic!

[0.01T] The Ultimate Visitor - Chuey - 2010-08-10

I will admit, at the first extraction I could only say, "Woah," and then my opinion started to go downhill a little bit. But I must admit, I think I will enjoy all of this. If this is a permanent area, then I will actually feel really excited for this patch. The Level 127 sword looks really pretty, and I definitely want my hands on it. And now that I understand how the maps work and such, it's not so bad the maps are recycled and stuff. It's more of an expansion to the Maple World, not Masteria, so we should expect old backgrounds, not news one so it doesn't make sense. And from that video that's somewhere here on SP, the only music I found to not work was the one from Leafre. The music recycles actually seemed pretty good.

So I just hope this isn't an event, because it actually does seem interesting. The game-breaking equips could really be game breaking through, with 30 slot overalls and whatnot. But that item Takebacker pointed out... I hope you can't use it infinitely. Because you can buy those type of items in Tespia right now, based on that aforementioned video, for 50 mesos each. There hopefully should be a limit, or at least make the upgrade items cost a few million mesos each. But a few million right now for max stats? No thanks. If it gets more defined and such, or we learn of the hidden definitions of them, then kudos to Nexon for making some interesting equips and a scrolling a system for them.

Actually it's for 50 OSSS medal thingys, I forget the exact name at the moment. You get them by doing the PQ's there.

By looking over the item extraction I just realized that, it looked like mesos in the video. xD Well, that's better then.

Meta has hit the nail right on the head the lv 127 weapons are just amazing in looks(some more then others),stats, and potential. With lv 121+ weapons for all classes who knows what they can add or even add to potential, like lv 160+ weps with 16% bonuses. The +5 all stat rings are amazing along with the dragon necklace if you can hammer it land all the 50s(should be easy with the cs version of white scrolls) you have a +9 all 18atk pendant that can be potentialed. As long as all of this isn't go to hell and back 20 times for these items a slight challenge is worth it. Why is every1 complaining when nexon gave us high lv content on a silver platter basically.

[0.01T] The Ultimate Visitor - sinisterboy9 - 2010-08-10

Has Epsidoe 2 been released yet?

Because some of it is pretty broken. Like the medal that makes the level 200 medal look like a joke. And of course the statless weapons, but again those weapons in my eyes actually balance things out more since E-Wands/Staffs are no longer the highest level weapons in the game. (Well that 163 is, but you should know what I am getting at.)

Well, they are pretty broken. It essentially ended any chance that stat builds might be able to catch up with statless after the big bang patch. It makes stat builds a joke again.
