[1.2.267] Evan Info & Skill Tables - Dusk - 2009-11-22 Earthquake appears to be an ultimate with less vertical range. Doesn't seem to go down at all. Even Air Strike can hit the middle Newties from that platform. [1.2.267] Evan Info & Skill Tables - Fiel - 2009-11-22 Nope, doesn't go down at all: lt.x -300 lt.y -200 rb.x 300 rb.y 30 [1.2.267] Evan Info & Skill Tables - Russt - 2009-11-22 I've added cast times based on Fiel's Character.wz delays into my chart on the previous page. Keep in mind that these are theoretical speeds, which have held for most but not all things in the past, so take them with a grain of salt. [1.2.267] Evan Info & Skill Tables - IllegallySane - 2009-11-22 Hmm, ick. The casting speeds are atrociously slow. It's making Evan look more like a class to pick for flavor, instead of power. I really hope we can get confirmation soon on how fast the attacks are with Magic Booster. For now, they're not exactly impressing me with stuff other than eye candy. Either speeding up the animations, or boosting up the magic attacks would help the class. [1.2.267] Evan Info & Skill Tables - Fiel - 2009-11-22 Russt shouldn't have a problem doing the calculations with and without booster. Right, Russt? [1.2.267] Evan Info & Skill Tables - Russt - 2009-11-22 Multiply by 7/8. Just to give an idea of the bossing DPS of an Evan, I'll compare to Paralyze and Chain Lightning. Paralyze: 210 BA / 0.8 sec = 263 BA/sec Blaze: 320 BA / 1.32 sec = 242 BA/sec CL: 180 BA / 0.78 sec = 231 BA/sec Illusion: 480 BA / 2.43 sec = 198 BA/sec Ghost Lettering: 350 / 2.16 sec = 162 BA/sec Killing Wing: 310 / 1.92 sec = 161 BA/sec All of these are without Booster, so they'll be the same ratio with Booster. None of an Evan's attacks beats Paralyze, and Paralyze isn't exactly the king of DPS, so attacking isn't looking very good for these Evans. Edit: However, I've neglected critical and any other self buffs in this calculation. I might do it later. [1.2.267] Evan Info & Skill Tables - Fiel - 2009-11-22 Well, an Evan's Amp is not as good as an F/Ps Amp, so including it into the calculations will hurt Evan. The addition of critical will help somewhat, but crit always works better on hundreds of little hits than fewer large hits. Since Evan specializes in fewer large hits, the crit won't help that much. Mage's Berzerk will be the one that will help Evan the most. +10% basic attack to Dark Fog? Yes plz. Onix's Blessing also is nothing to write home about. Getting an additional 30 MATK over another mage isn't a deal breaker. Seems like this class is underpowered given its equality in 3/1/3/1 with Aran. If anything, Evan should be buffed up. Well, Arans were slightly buffed before they were released in the official server, so I'm hoping for the same for Evans. [1.2.267] Evan Info & Skill Tables - Russt - 2009-11-22 Just to clarify, is Evan's Amp 135% or 120%? F/P's Amp is 140%, correct? [1.2.267] Evan Info & Skill Tables - Fiel - 2009-11-22 My values are correct because they are directly ripped from the game data. It's 135%. [1.2.267] Evan Info & Skill Tables - Takebacker - 2009-11-22 Demolition speed evan attacks. Do not want. Russt Wrote:F/P's Amp is 140%, correct? Yup. Factor in SE and see how much they shift, should be impressive. 25% base crit for 70% extra damage on top of SE crits while using a 4-hit skill is pretty nice, especially considering their variant of berserk. Unfortunately, the fact that the crit chance is so low makes it not very powerful...unless SE is there. True, but in a bossing situation, and especially in the bosses people are talking about them vs AMs, very rarely is there nobody with SE. [1.2.267] Evan Info & Skill Tables - Russt - 2009-11-22 Okay, here's the problem. I don't know how these are multiplied with regard to magic skills, and especially with SE. I'll assume that 25% chance of 170% damage is just multiplicative, and that Dragon Fury is a multiplier of 110%. I'll also assume that SE does not add the invisible 100% as it does with weapon attacks. This means, unfortunately for the Evan, that neither multi hit nor single hit attacks will be very impressive with SE. Corrected Blaze: 242 BA/sec * (1 + 0.25*0.7) * 1.1 * (1.35/1.4) = 302 BA/sec Blaze + SE: 242 BA/sec * (1 + 0.4*1.1) * 1.1 * (1.35/1.4) = 369 BA/sec Illusion is going to be weaker than Blaze no matter what, so I didn't bother. Now, if SE does by some freak of nature add the 100%: Blaze + SE: 242 BA/sec * (1 + 0.4*2.1) * 1.1 * (1.35/1.4) = 472 BA/sec [1.2.267] Evan Info & Skill Tables - Bribery - 2009-11-22 Don't forget all the +35 base attack Evan gets to all of its attacks from Soul Dragon and Magic Mastery. Either way, those speeds are atrocious. If they're going to be the same speed as demolition, they better be able to hit as hard as demolition too. I hope they give Evans a significant power boost or speed boost before releasing them. They have really useful party buffs but that isn't enough motivation for me if their training is going to be hindered by slow attacks. And again, skills get replaced too quickly. If those attack speeds are relatively accurate, Blaze replaces both Earthquake and Flame Wheel in terms of DPS, even on 6 targets, since it's so much faster. [1.2.267] Evan Info & Skill Tables - Fiel - 2009-11-22 I added a skill list for you guys so it's easier to find skills. It's too hard to remember which skills go with which masteries. [1.2.267] Evan Info & Skill Tables - JoeTang - 2009-11-22 Illusion with Passives is 120 + 20 + 15 = 155 BA x 4, giving it 255 BA/s. Factor in Criticals 155 * 0.75 + 1.7 * 0.25 * 155 = 182 BA x 4 Berserk gives it an additional 10% = 200 BA x 4 And amp should give it 1.35x which makes it 270 x 4 Total of 444 BA/s, stronger than Blaze's 422 BA/s Trying to factor in SE would probaby add 40% to their 170% damage, making it 210% which according to my calculations lead to 547 BA/s Compared to Paralyze's 210 * 1.4 = 294 / 0.81 = 363 BA/s Paralyze would trump Illusion if it had elemental advantage, obviously, as would Chain Lightning though. [1.2.267] Evan Info & Skill Tables - Takebacker - 2009-11-22 Does illusion have an element? If it's neutral that in itself is a strength. |
