TROLLTASTIC.
(unless i equip my crit ring, but i really don't want to..)

i'm honestly not sure what to do with this, because us archers have a skill which basically means "miss = 100% crit for something seconds" and that's quite often to me.. unless the dodge chance does not count towards this?

Don't forget that Evasion Boost only procs if IS doesn't. Unless you have a crap load of avoid and low %crit, it really isn't a big boost. I'm at 100% crit with 18% from IA. We get 10% from hypers and another +5% from phantom link lvl2. That leaves me with 98% crit including SS rank MM card and 5% crit ring.

You could easily trade the 5% ring for a 6% nebulite in secondary weapon or just a pot line.

the 5% crit ring is probably quite good however, due to the secondary effect of raising min damage by a lot. (unless it's one of those newer rings?)

Alas, it's one of the newer rings. I'd kill to get an Adventurer's Cruel ring on my BM. 20% min damage with my already 100% crit would be awesome. Heck, I wish they had character transfers so I could get my pre-bb Hermit's (he's in stasis in Scania) Critical ring since it would give me an easy 100% crit without IA. B>character xfer!

The Inner Ability Thread - Pink Bean - 2013-03-11

unfortunately i don't have a cruel ring or any variants of those from way back when. i only have a gratias sitting around; my bowmaster was made october 2011
also i transferred my hunter's ring onto a wild hunter that i played around with (which is worse than gratias, so it doesn't matter)

i have all three evolving rings, and a tempest ring. i'm not sure if i want to swap it out.

Last night I hit level 30 and couldn't help myself but start to use my circulators. I guess you could consider me to be lucky, because after about 30 Rank-5 circulators, I obtained Attack Speed +1. As an Angelic Buster, I am very happy and excited about this.

I plan to continue to level until I am able to unlock the third line. When I do, should I continue to circulate in hopes that I could land this again with a better secondary or third line or should I just call it quit after I hit level 60 and keep whatever they give me for the other two lines?

You will have to circulate again if you want something better than all stats + x (I only remember it's all stats + something) on your third line when you unlock it.

I'm having a tough time trying to get either S rank Boss Damage, or +1 attack speed. What time are bonus coins given out again? I got it this past weekend at 8AM server time.

Don't recirculate it.

You got extremely lucky by landing the Attack Speed +1. I know of a Dark Knight around these parts that pined for it specifically.

Last time I checked, all misses count towards this 1 sec of crit (been a long time since I played my bm but, it was like that after jump patch).

Oh my, I don't want to be a part of that statistic then. I'll keep it and won't circulate anymore.

No, not really. If it did, why would they include a proc at all for Evasion Boost? Common sense.

That might be way better than IAS. Do some math for you:

Assume IAS is a 10% overall increase in DPS (based on standard increments in DPS from Fastest(3) to Fastest(2)), and that you haven't reached IAS cap (see the Attack Speed Reference thread for more info).

Let average damage be x before criticals.
Assume you are not using any EQ that boosts crit damage in any way. Therefore, with Star Gazer and Mastery, you will have +45% min crit and +60% max crit damage. Therefore, crit damage range is (1.2 * 1.45) ~ (1.5 * 1.6) = 1.74 ~ 2.4. Representing as an average, averagecritdmg = 2.07.

Crit rate = y, and therefore rate of noncrits = 1 - y. Dmg = x*crit*averagecritdmg + x*noncrits = 2.07*y*x + (1 - y)*x == (1 + 1.07y)x

Before: Dmg = (1 + 1.07*0.63)x == 1.67x
After crit rate boost: Dmg = (1 + 1.07*0.91)x == 1.97x
Average damage boost: 1.97x / 1.67x = 1.18 > 1.1 for a general IAS damage increase.

Therefore: Keep this inner ability.

If you have a phantom with its link skill, consider you'd get to 96% critical rate after lv 2 link skills arrive.

That's just nuts. If you don't, well, 100% criticals is awesome.

AB doesnt have a normal booster, that puts them at fast (5) without any bonuses, the highest you can obtain alone is fast 3 with the help of inner ability and decent SI. Probably wont be better than 28% even if you calc it from fast (5) but still worth mentioning.

Also after playing around with a lot of skills on my ab, some skills dont seem to matter if you have booster or not.
