How was your day? - Sarah - 2011-06-12

Super stressed because I've been slacking on homework recently and have a bunch of stuff due this week. I'll get it done but agh.

How was your day? - Panacea - 2011-06-12

Took most of the day to do 13 homework problems, and still need to do homework + study for my Calculus test.

Where did all of my motivation go?

Went out at 3 AM to ride shotgun with my bro in the white Evo. It was my first time in the car and it was quite the experience. Your feet literally lift off of the floor. This is just a video of one of the runs that they did, out of about ten total.

needless to say, it made my day/week

How was your day? - Sarah - 2011-06-13

I think it's pretty much safe to assume at this point that if you one day disappear it's because you've died being an idiot in a car.

How was your day? - Rick - 2011-06-13

Hopefully he doesn't take anyone else with him -_-

How was your day? - Greg - 2011-06-13

hey, I said I was the passenger. you guys are just haters

How was your day? - Rick - 2011-06-13

Haters who never built up a really nice car just to have it written off. Oh snap.

How was your day? - Sarah - 2011-06-13

Greg Wrote:hey, I said I was the passenger. you guys are just haters

Yep. I hate people who RACE ON PUBLIC ROADS. Not going to deny that. Whether or not you're driving you're still at fault here, bub. You and your pals will either get yourselves killed or kill someone innocent, eventually. And you know, if you're a passenger when you kill someone else, you're still going to be held responsible. FUN.

How was your day? - Greg - 2011-06-13

what do you mean by written off...

Sarah Wrote:FUN.
probably the only valid part of your post. Street racing is illegal blah blah you might hurt someone hurr innocent people

There's a reason we do this at 3 AM lol, as if it isn't obvious enough in the video that we are the only cars on the road for miles. Not saying that justifies racing on the streets, of course it's illegal and of course things can go wrong and you can wreck, but it typically does not happen like that.

also its fun

How was your day? - Rick - 2011-06-13

"Written off" can be translated to "totaled".

I don't care about it being illegal. I didn't say anything about that for a reason. If you did it somewhere safe I wouldn't give two shits because if you run into a tree and kill yourself then that's your problem. Out on the public streets of a city or even a suburb is incredibly irresponsible. You don't have the right to endanger other people because you want to have fun. There are plenty or reasons for innocents to be out at that time of night and it only takes a split second--especially at that speed--for you to pineapple up someone's life. Go out into the country side if you want to be a jerk-off and get yourself killed.

How was your day? - Greg - 2011-06-13

public streets can be safe...

How was your day? - Rick - 2011-06-13

Not with people like you on them.

How was your day? - Greg - 2011-06-13

OUCH!

How was your day? - Mark - 2011-06-13

So much mad.

Greg just wanted to play pretend racing games. >:

How was your day? - Mute - 2011-06-13

I actually agree with Rick and Sarah on this one.
Greg, I get you want to enjoy yourself, but don't just handwave everything you do with the excuse "because it's fun;" just makes you seem more like a grown-up manchild.

You simpletons will never understand. It's okay, I guess. That's just not how it works.

Anyone with a nice car has raced it on the streets, period. And if they haven't raced, they've gone fast. When you do it, you only care about going fast. The guy who says "WELL THAT'S NOT A VERY RESPONSIBLE THING TO DO" is just a blur being passed at warp speed. And yes, you most certainly do use the excuse "because it's fun" for pretty much everything irresponsible that you do. If I cared about being a manchild I wouldn't have shared the video!

My first car was a Lincoln Continental. If I didn't total it in the accident two or so years back, I'd be living in it now. That car was comfortable as F'UCK.
To me, that was a (very) nice car, but I never went faster than 85 in it.

Honestly Greg, I wouldn't be surprised if you did get into an accident some day, and instead of realizing "woah, I should stop racing" you'd instead try to pass blame onto whatever you collided into. Pray that it isn't a person.

How was your day? - Greg - 2011-06-13

I already wrecked once, was 100% my fault, dunno why me racing would lead you to believe that I have trouble accepting responsibility.

I think we hit inbetween 140-150 last night. so no I guess I didn't realize "woah, I should stop racing"
