Judging from what Pam says in that box, I think Pam's Song is used after the scroll fails...White Scrolls are used with the regular scroll.

No, I am disappointed because this event is just downright poor design. Really? I couldn't bother to watch the whole video because by the time it had gone half way, I had already been bored to the death of my 7th or 8th life; and it was barely 5 minutes or so, imagine doing this for 30minutes, OH BOY, every day of the week, OH MAN, and most likely every possible week during the whole event's duration, OH GRANDPA. You know what sucks more? You almost have to participate if you want to keep up with the times at all.
Sure, if the weapons are a sure-get given enough patience and hard work, it might slightly be worth it, but knowing Nexon, I call lulz on this.
Mind you, I have enough patience to hunt PoTs for 5 Reverse weapons, on 1x drop and Crimson Wood to make an Arcanon, and soon to make an Arcglaive.

Majority =/= everyone. Of course there will be other reasons people would dislike this event, but from what I see a majority is just due to their speculations being flushed down the toilet. Even though it seems it'll get boring and/or tedious to do over and over, I'm willing to put up with it if it means I'll get some of the juicy equipment which is great for unfunded and funded alike.

That would be me. For some reason I had a strong feeling this wasn't Masteria. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Yes, I've already speculated that it could all possibly be nothing but Iruvata Booster-style quests.
I don't know, right now I just don't want to believe they're going through all this just for a limited-time event.

I'll have to hold my personal judgement on this place, if the armor is easily gotten from drops or through quests then i'm relieved and would like to gather up at least two of the sets.
If this is an unfourtunate temporary event that is made overly difficult or has a NX blockade of some sort that prevents the casual free gamer from getting the good stuff, i'll be greatly dissapointed by nexon, i'm not a tester but from the sound of things the area is kind of small and very little actual content is there, it just looks like alot right now.

What the hell do you all have the memory of gold fish? Last freaking patch we get a ton of AP resets, dual blade with subsequent events, chaos zak/ht, THE FREAKING POTENTIAL SYSTEM, several 2x events, 5k nx for their fk up, another chance at explorer rings, and a couple more things.
Now right after that uber patch they roll out some of their own content that is TOTALLY DIFFERENT from anything we've seen before, and all you do is whine that it isn't your beloved Masteria content and quickly pass on what could possibly be the next iteration of worthwhile content?
For once we don't have a quest where you're hunting for twenty bear asses or killing 1k of a single monster to get to another map. Instead we get inside suites and help fend off an alien invasion, we protect refining areas and survive wave after wave, we help escort other members across the map. Yet you want to write it off because you only get 2 skills while transformed?
Do you know how absurd that is? When more than likely after a week with the content most of you would say "The only good skill to use while in the mech is X, W, Y, and Z suck"
I'm only looking at the content here. I'm fully aware of Nexon's other issues but they got it right again. We have quests that any person can do. You don't need to worry bout hp or accuracy to do these pq's, you can do it with your level 30 friend even when you're 150. It's a good thing you lot are an insignificant minority because by this point you really have become spoiled

When you don't get to use any of the skills that you earned, or use any of the stats that you leveled up for, and instead do a set amount of damage whether you're level 10 or 200, it's just silly. People want to have some use for their levels and skills, and this PQ takes none of it into account.

People, people, will you please stop complaining about something solely based on extractions and a few videos and pictures you've seen? The extractions, videos and pictures doesn't do this any justice at all. It's actually quite fun and enjoyable, and the quest line is pretty good too, it's no second coming of Masteria mind you, but it's far better than HH2 or Episode 1.
And on the note of these broken weapons, yeah sure, if they stay statless they are pretty broken. But you also have to realise before these weapons were made only Mages could get the big bad +12% and 4 stats on their potential weapons so while it's unbalance it's also helping balance by giving every class an equal chance at godly weapons. (They will surely fix the Crossbow before you say anything.) At least NexonNA is actually trying to do something new unlike other certain versions of MapleStory.
Everyone who is complaining should really lay off until you get to play it yourself because all the stuff that is being posted about it doesn't come close to explaining how it is. And you're making yourself look like a 4 year old kid in a toy store throwing a fit about his father not getting him the super shiny firetruck that makes lots of noise and instead getting a less shiny firetruck that will provide tons of fun and throwing it on the floor breaking it because you're mad at your father, and then your father punishes you by never buying you a firetruck again.
So until you get to experience it for yourself don't complain about something you know nothing about.

I noted that even if the .wz files don't have end dates this could still be an event and the "real" .wz files could include end dates, since the Tespia WZ files are on a separate versioning scheme from the real GMS the contents don't have to be 100% the same.

So you expect that while riding around in a giant mech suit that you should be able to use your skills when you can't even use your weapon? Nexon applies logic to something and people still complain, go figure.
