Yeah like mirror image. That was pretty cool.

Quote:Wait... are you saying we should ask magicians about something they have no idea about?
You do know they changed how magic works completely, right? The damage, accuracy, everything.
Unless you're a part of KMST, I'm pretty sure most of these magicians understand very little about how
it works now.

Really?...

When the revamp was first announced and the changes were revealed, quite a number
of players suggested that archmages/bishops were finally balanced.

Ultimates with a cooldown? YES! Big Grin

But then came the video of a bishop training at MDTs showing how this was not the case.
Players still thought that the video wasn't that bad, but bishops knew how horrible their skills
were at the time.

More changes were announced including big bang hitting 5 times, paralyze's ability to mob, and
chain lightning hitting 10 targets.

Surely archmages/bishops must be balanced now. What else do they need? >=/

Then today, we see that even more adjustments including the boost of CL to 700%...

Anyone could tell you that the mage class needed to be balanced to compensate for the
loss of ultimates, but it wasn't until now that we see just how much they require.
How many changes they still get even after players think they're balanced.
*shadower with shadow partner? Of course!*

It doesn't take a magician in kmst in order to see the difficulty in giving archmages
decent bossing abilities and know that we're not quite there yet. =/

Will do.

I'm curious about this too. If 720ms is Normal speed, with booster alone it should hit 600 ms right, which would give you 100 hits in a minute. But it is possible for weapons to be faster than that and hit the cap in less than a minute right?

Should make summoning rocks stack in 1000s

I'm thinking YES? as there are a variety of "weapon attack speed: NORMAL, FAST, FASTER"

1000 rocks would provide 50 hours worth of Shadow Partner. 100 would provide 5.

Well, I have it maxed, and the skill description says 4%, not 5. I got 100 combos, and my crit rate was 45%...

All this rounding is going to kill me someday.

I hope the new buccaneer changes are GMS friendly
It would suck if Transform overrides apples, same with counter attack.

Alloy Wrote:The only think I'd like to see with shadow partner is that the shadow gets your shape. That's all.

Eh, I kinda like SP as it is now (except for NW SP, that just looks creepy), but I can see this. Would it just be a shadowy outline of your shape or a translucent copy that tails you?

Also, considering NLs, don't mind them getting buffs or anything. I still think that they could use a bit more, perhaps a new attack or something--I mean, going through 120 levels of using L7 just to use L7+1? Yay...I don't know what it'd be like though that Avenger or Triple Throw don't accomplish, and to be honest I haven't taken my sin far enough to really know how NL training goes. Perhaps they could buff shadow meso and web to not be useless (dunno how though, maybe have Shadow Web stun to truly incapaticate enemies?). I think a MG-like skill would be pretty good, especially with the removal of minimum range requirements--maybe not as good since sins aren't supposed to attack up close, but something to help defray the amount of washing needed or promote moving around into mobs. Also think Shads shouldn't get FJ; I got nothing against shadowers and in fact would love to play one, but I'd rather have more distiction between the two classes, and besides they already have haste and whatnot.

Mages still need to be buffed...

Hey Fiel.
Does the CB flash jump and shadow partner look the same as the Hermit one?
Just wondering.

You're seriously bitching that you're not the second best DPS now?

Get over yourself.

These epic Shadower buffs have me hopeful for some epic mage buffs next patch :>

[1.2.321] Skill Balancing - Edelstein & Leben - Dusk - 2010-06-24

Yeah, I don't understand why people that think NLs are entitled to be top-tier DPSers.

If Nexon actually balances these classes right, there shouldn't be a "tier list" for DPS anyway.

I think ideally:
Ranged classes = damage +-5%, some changes depending on buffs available
Warrior classes = 85~90% of ranged and ability to hit 3 targets (Hero/DrK) or ability to use elements to do more (Pally), support skills to increase party's damage/survivability
Shadower/Bucc = 85~90% of ranged, good defensive/evasive ability + mobbing + support skills
Magic classes = 75~80% of ranged, good mob control, support skills / boss disables?

I think it's unfair how drks always get crap Sad Hero gets new skill in 4th job and Drks still using 3rd job skill till Lv 200 D: o well atleast Drks becoming the new leeching class Big Grin Spam zerked roars ftw <3

[1.2.321] Skill Balancing - Edelstein & Leben - FanaticRat - 2010-06-24

Also, question about the Advanced Homing buff; did it simply buff the damage the actual attack does or was there also a boost to the damage increase under Bullseye as well?

you still the most necessary skill in the game boss wise, your 3rd job was the best hands down and your capable of doing just fine on your own in 4thRolleyes where on earth does this sense of self-entitlement come from all of you?

Because being the guy with the lowest DPS without any way to be competitive is not fun. You can spout off non sense about "essnetial buff", but that won't make the DrKs who got the short end of the stick feel any better.

Dusk has hit the target spot on. This guy has made the most sense.

DrKs don't want to have the best DPS or anything like that. We just don't want to be relegated to just HB mules. At least before we were about...10% behind Heroes? It'd be nice to at least partially maintain that.
