Thoughts: Great slice of life style episode. The shenanigans that ensued when they all decided to be at the castle was great. Even funnier that none of them knew each other were there, so they pretty much scared themselves senseless. Pinkie just sealed the deal in the end. Way too funny seeing her "ring the school bell".


Writing: Just funny as hay. No real glaring plotholes since it's more slice of life than pure adventure. I like how the writer managed to turn an adventure story arc into a slice of life story as well. 10/10

Animation: What can I say? 10/10

Overall: 9001/10 (but really 10/10 like last week), top episode. Season 4 is looking mighty epic right now, like Season 2 quality but more so.

What can I say? I'm a [yay] towards ponies who get scared to the point of Celestia knows what. I swear, it's an odd thing to like, but whatever. I'm surprised this time they took down the road of Paranormal and actually delivered. (Shadow Pony existing...also *cough* Terraria References everywhere.) The whole episode basing itself around the complete Haunted House cliche was honestly pretty entertaining because they did it right and kept it fresh...Especially Pinkie freaking the nuts out of everyone with an Organ...if only S4 was 1 month earlier, the pictures that could have gone with it. But who cares, it's 4th of July. (Lolwat.)
Anyways, I'm enjoying how despite losing their abilities to wield the most OP weapon in all of Equestaria, they're still able to find that their friendship can still conquer and give them the bravery...well, the SMALL amount of it, to kinda power through to the end...Also Journals? Now we're getting back into the child roots that this show was intended to be...Because ya know...girls around that age usually like writing in Diaries...? THE PRINCESS DIARIES?! DUN DUN DUNNN.

So despite the quality (It was a pomegranate 240p- bs.), I'll edit this later and give my review.

Rainbow Dash is on the new book. It's like every fangirl/fanboy's dream.


Overall: I missed a few minutes so my viewpoint will be a little skewed until I catch a re-watch somewhere. One thing's for sure, it was not to not like the fangirling by Twilight and Rainbow Dash. I was dying of diabetes near the end.

Moral: I'd say 8/10 or so. It's more what Daring Do learned, rather than what Dash learned.

Story: Entertaining to say the least. The villain plan seems a bit silly though, to have the world be scorching for 600 years. The scary part though, is when you realize this horseapples can happen on a regular basis. What other insane world dooming devices are there in Equestria??? The whole remove rings = destroyed temple was really silly as well. But then you also wonder: would his plan have worked at all when you realize Celestia can just move the sun as usual? Fridge logic moment. I'd give 7.5/10. Plotholes here and there, but still amusing to watch nonetheless. I'd want to dock off points for Rainbow Dash being essentially a self-insert into the next Daring Do book, but she really did deserve it.

Humor: Pinkie really delivering the humor this season. Visual puns/jokes were great too. Also the geeking out moments. 11/10

Shippiness: Over 9000/10. You can practically see the Rainbow Dash/Daring Do + Rainbow Dash/Twilight Sparkle + Twilight Sparkle/Daring Do ships from a mile away. I wonder if Twilight used to be as fangirly, or even more fangirly than Dashie.

Overall: 9/10

Season 4 honestly is so strong right now. Can't say right now if it's the top just yet. Next few episodes will decide it for sure.
