Original Dragon Nest Thread - Olsi - 2012-03-10 Same thing happened to us hope it's fixed soon. Original Dragon Nest Thread - Mibs - 2012-03-10 So we're supposed to do 25 non-ladder pvp matches for the extra storage, but I don' t know the fastest way to do this, since I barely pvp. What kind of match should I do? Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2012-03-12 oh yeahhhhh me and flonne + another ele + sharpshooter finally got this place down. Glacial spike spam from 3 sorcs + time stop = gerrant can't do sh*t ![]() Edit - So, after getting Lord of Phantoms, I felt it was time to get "Enraged" too . I did die twice though lol
Spoiler
Original Dragon Nest Thread - Alilatias - 2012-03-14 So I decided to make an ele just to see for myself what the power gap between them and other classes is really like. Holy freaking hell, their damage output is nuts. Fireball one-shots everything but bosses. That said, I'm having a tough time deciding whether I want to go Saleana/Pyromancer or Elestra/Ice Witch. I'm leaning towards Ice Witch at the moment since I think the ice skills are far more visually appealing, even if the overall damage output isn't as high as Pyromancer. I'm also having a tough time with builds. Everything just seems so useful, especially with the cooldowns being rather high. What do I sacrifice from the fire tree in order to get more SP into the ice skills, if I should sacrifice anything at all? And which ice skills should I focus on? And then there are the 1st specialization skills... Does higher levels of Glacial Spike really make a difference? Should I rank Toxic Spray high enough to get that additional puddle, or is that something only Mystics get? So many questions. http://dnarmory.com/skill-calc?i=3-17-36-50#ddVbwirtbZ_AE5M221d Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2012-03-14 Level 13 glacial spike has the highest freeze chance Level 7 inferno increases its range by A LOT. Inferno is actually kind of useless until level 7 I really like level 12 toxic spray (3 puddles) This is the build I use. http://dnarmory.com/skill-calc?i=3-17-40#g6sEawRwgYvJKOtQxd A couple pros is that it has lvl 13 glacial spike, level 7 inferno, level 3 fire shield, really high level glacial freeze (I use the 20% duration crest on top of it), 3 puddle toxic spray, and still manages enough points to squeeze in shock wave for PvP. It also gets a decent set of ice skills which I feel are pretty powerful. Frozen spikes is AMAZING for CC. I don't regret getting it at all. You hardly sacrifice any damage to go down to frozen spikes. You can go down to chilling mist, but I don't think it's that useful. Chilling mist just does not do enough damage to justify wasting the points to obtain it. Getting it means you're forced to spend more money to make sure you have fire AND ice on your weapons rather than focusing on magic damage and fire %. You also have to waste 10 SP on ice shield. Which is stupid since you already have fire shield. As for level 50, there's a build called "fire elestra" which is the build I'm going for. http://forum.mmosite.com/thread/2/217/20110923/Saurus_Fire_Elestra_Seleana_Build-4e7c4ea93ad7eef13-10.html#p4ea0c0e0d89726 Basically, it's getting all of your fire skills in 2nd job, but getting the ice ulti as well at the 50 cap. The advantage is that you gain the extra freeze + an extra shield without sacrificing much of your fire damage. Original Dragon Nest Thread - Flonne - 2012-03-14 huh, I guess I'm weird for not wanting spray on ele http://dnarmory.com/skill-calc?i=3-17-35-50#doqN_3gUFd-y8JfsdpZ Also, I thought you could only have 1 shield up at a time? But yeah, I tried ice tree out, and the only one I like so far is spikes, the other 2 are very boring to me :x Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2012-03-14 I don't really like phoenix strike. You have to be so close for it to do decent damage. It's nice and quick, but I only use it for the long burn. If I were you flonne, I'd keep phoenix strike at level 4 and max flame spark instead, but that's just me. Original Dragon Nest Thread - Flonne - 2012-03-14 I'm the opposite, phoenix strike is my favorite skill. Low CD and decent damage. Ignite is like 44 seconds or some crap, lol. Original Dragon Nest Thread - Alilatias - 2012-03-14 I decided I'm going fire instead. After hearing about the pros and cons of every skill, I feel I'm wasting too much SP/sacrificing too much from the fire tree if I go ice. I wish there was a point to getting both fire and ice shield besides from getting Hot Rod and Chilling Mist further in the trees, but there really isn't... And Hot Rod just seems so much more useful compared to Mist. Original Dragon Nest Thread - Flonne - 2012-03-14 Quote: A new Nest mode:O SEA DRAGON? Hopefully! Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2012-03-14 http://dragonnest.nexon.net/community/forum#%2Fshowthread.php%3F287929-Highlights-Dragon-Nest-TV-Q-amp-A%26nxid%3D62 the new nest mode is "Practice Mode" Original Dragon Nest Thread - Flonne - 2012-03-14 DrRusty Wrote:http://dragonnest.nexon.net/community/forum#%2Fshowthread.php%3F287929-Highlights-Dragon-Nest-TV-Q-amp-A%26nxid%3D62oh. that looks really gay, nevermind. ;_; Original Dragon Nest Thread - JPTheMonkey - 2012-03-15 ![]() So much for breaking this...guess I'll keep this and respark it rather than the other one. Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2012-03-15 all those weapon sparks. Buy something out of the MP and use em lol cleric ones I'm guessing? Spark some teram shields Original Dragon Nest Thread - JPTheMonkey - 2012-03-15 The stack of 6 is archer sparks, I'll probably get some quivers for that. My Merc has a ton more sparks as well. I should have around 1.4k gold later if my Pirate Captain Seals sell for 200g or so each. Not counting on it until post-patch though. Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2012-03-15 OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG WE GOT THE MERCENARY DAMAGE UPDATE!!! YES YES YES. ok no more caps lock . New Battle Howl description Duration 31 seconds, Cooldown 40 seconds 20% attack power 36% critical 36% stun Original Dragon Nest Thread - airbase43 - 2012-03-15 Yay for the event that gives off-hand and primary weapons ![]() Edit: Nvm nexon is only giving us some of the crafting mats and not all of them
Original Dragon Nest Thread - Flonne - 2012-03-15 Too much effort involved on all of those events. Clear all nest runs every week? Screw that. Pvp a ton? I hate pvp anyway. Screw that. Oh well, at least I finally got a decent NX cover for helm, those glasses are nice. Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2012-03-15 48k flying swing with luring slice
Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2012-03-15 Tried to solo this so many times now . I finally give up
