Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword [SPOILERS] - Link - 2011-11-24

Oh, yeah. There is one thing I did forget to mention in my previous post.

When you save over your file with Hero Mode, all of your bugs/birds/treasures that you collected in your previous play-through are saved. You will still have all of those items in Hero Mode, ready for item upgrades. Therefore, it won't be quite as tedious to get 100% of everything a second time over.

ShiKage Wrote:Oh, man. Hero Mode is definitely a good challenge for Zelda veterans. It still may not be as hard as Zelda for the NES or Zelda II, but it's still pretty challenging. You certainly have to have a good grasp on the controls to survive well enough.
welp, this is my first real Zelda game and I think I did okay. Gunna try out this mode when gf isn't play nau.

The end of the game made me realize I had a shield. I never used it a good half of the game. >___>;

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword [SPOILERS] - Kurtle - 2011-11-24

Played since noon and got to the first Silent Realm, loving the storyline so far, but pineapple'ing hated Lanaryru so much.

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword [SPOILERS] - Link - 2011-11-24

I thought Lanayru was the best desert region in any Zelda game thus far. That goes for the other two regions and their other counterparts as well.

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword [SPOILERS] - Piggy 2.0 - 2011-11-24

Ugh, most of you guys are well ahead of me already. Stupid Wakfu kick.
Time to get lost for an hour again looking for what to do next!

Strange. I loved the hell out of that dungeon. Maybe it was just because it was completely unique. It's the best desert area dungeon in any Zelda game, I think. The only time I had any trouble with that dungeon was dealing with the Skyward Sword version of Beamos... if they're called that (Edit : I checked and yes, they're still called Beamos in this game.). I didn't know how to beat them until a while after I completed that dungeon. lol Instead, I just stealth'ed around them to get through.

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword [SPOILERS] - Raph589 - 2011-11-25

2 hours in, but I'm kinda tired. School tomorrow too Sad

Just met my first Kikwi. So far, the game's been awesome. My only 2 complaints are Fi being annoying as fck and having to recenter every 10 minutes or so...

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword [SPOILERS] - Link - 2011-11-25

If you're recentering your cursor often, you're not doing it right (not necessarily ALL of the time, but there are some instances where your Wii remote can be thrown out of calibration if you swing it too hard). lol

Where the cursor on the screen appears is determined by where you have the remote facing when you pull up a menu/item. Whatever the Wiimote is facing at the time you open those will be the center.

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword [SPOILERS] - Raph589 - 2011-11-25

I know all that lol. Still have to recenter.
