TrueBlitz Wrote:Before you start ganking lanes, ask your teammates if you can kill the championa, because some people (especially the adcs) hate being ksed by junglers.

Anyone who hates being KSed probably just isn't very good at the game yet, and you shouldn't train yourself to do something so irrelevant, tbh. As you get better, there'll be absolutely no whining about KSing (if it is mentioned, people say "Kill Secured" jokingly), because it's MUCH better to secure the kill than to potentially let them go at low HP.

I even get this still in my game from supports. People get away low HP and they say "sorry I wanted you to have it" - this is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. I don't care who gets the kill... As long as someone gets it.

Somehow, I managed to help my team win a game where our mid LB intentionally fed the opponent Talon because "I dont like mid and didn't want to do it." It was me on Nami support, Thresh(!) adc, and fiddle jungle.
The game was almost 50 or so minutes long, and up to the 40 minute mark I was unkilled. Just.. I dont even know. I finished the game with a seraphs embrace, ruby sightstone, ohmwrecker, DFG, lucidity+HG boots, and the spellthief's edge's final form. Despite the LB going 0/33 and feeding them so hard, the 4 of us still were able to hold our pomegranate together and keep them dead long enough to build items and push towers. Xin split pushed top a lot when and where he could, and the final push was when me and him pushed top while thresh and fid defended base (our mid inhib was down, but about to respawn, and our bot inhib had been respawned once all ready, so they were well on their way to winning). Ohmwrecker while we tanked the inhib turret, their renek tried to fight, but Xin's healing skill plus my EVERYTHING combo shut him down. Took down the inhib turret, and it was game over. The two of us took out the inhibitor, and the nexus turrets, and the nexus, with only a single wave of minions backing us. It was just one reeeeaaaaaallllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyy strong push.

Rage? after the game LB said it was their strategy to feed, to lull the enemies into a sense of false victory, or some stupid nonsense. Claiming a "good team win" was just...
So much hate for retards in this game.

Also I hate learning jungle. but i'm trying. using Diana/fiddle/elise (who is also hard as balls, lemme just say that, to learn), since I don't like AD champs other than the marks(wo)men.

Forgot to SS the promo animation but oh well

Now Gold IV thanks to a fantastic nami game. Thresh and Leona were banned so Vayne and I dominated bot to carry everyone.

Normal MMR is weird. Got queued with a S3 Challenger. The border and icon look pretty nice though.

Slowly working my way up, currently Silver II. I'm glad that I switched from filling, to playing mid and top.

So today I won 7 games in a row to put me in promos for Gold IV->III. I ran with my best champ Renekton top and won both lanes hard (against Jax then Rumble). Of course, it didn't matter. 1st game my team runs Ashe+Zyra into a blitz to massively feed because they can't dodge pulls (self countering OP). Next game I have a balls in the wind Kha who refuses to do anything except dive the enemy team. We went from 5kills + drag ahead to 15 kills behind because he refused to stop chasing and called it his "play style".

Nothing good happens after midnight.

Riot touches Lee Sin, and suddenly everyone is going apeshit. I've been harboring a low opinion of Riot's balance team for a while, and now I finally have a mob to run with. This is the best day of my life.

On that note, if these changes actually do go through and they turn out to be as horrible as they sound and they don't get reverted after sufficient feedback, I'm just gonna start playing Dota 2. I stick with League because I'm hopeful that it can be strategically deeper than Dota in the future (Let's be honest, it was before, it made great progress at the beginning of S4, but now it isn't) and be more competitive. I don't like any single change Riot has made to the game ever since the 4.1 tower changes. At this rate I can only be so hopeful.

I don't think Lee Sin is OP or even needs changes, honestly. I'm not a Lee Sin player, but he doesn't necessarily scale very hard, and he isn't played to an overbearing amount like some champions are right now. Lee Sin requires a bit of skill to play to his maximum, and he doesn't scale too hard into late game. He also has counterplay so it's not like he's anti-fun or anything.

The Elise changes I can agree with... She has so much packed into her kit that can be toned down early game, and she actually does scale at all points of the game thanks to having % health scaling damage (both current and missing HP scaling abilities on her spiderform and humanform Q).

I just hate how stagnant everything is right now... Top lane is probably the most boring lane to play right now because the champions that are proficient in that role are extremely boring to play.

Yeah, I agree completely, especially with Elise being my favorite champion--I described her yesterday to my friend as "the only AP carry who can still be a tank at the same time unless Ryze comes back".

Lee Sin changes fall in line with Riot trying to "shift power to the late game". While they're certainly doing that in one sense, they're making a complete mess out of the game and actually punishing playstyles that make the game fun. It's atrocious.

It's almost as bad as their changes to bot/top towers a few patches ago. They need to stop forcing the meta and just let things happen. Why should Lee be a late game champion? What's wrong with early game champions? The only problem with early game champions is if their early game is so good that they scale into late game by keeping their enemies down (what I feel Pantheon can be like at some times), but Lee isn't like that IMO.

League is consistently the only game that strips away my faith in humanity's intelligence.

For a game that requires a lot of planning ahead and decision making, people sure do lack forethought.

And hindsight isn't even close to 20/20.

I've started playing with a friend recently, but I haven't won a single game with him. I want to keep playing with him, but his placements got him in bronze 4 and he wants to duo ranked with me. I don't know what do.

A good day on the Rift, today. The only losses where when I played Top Tiger. I don't trust anyone else jungling on my team now... >_>

That said, at least I'm consistently doing well with my Jungle Udyr.

I've been practicing Lee Sin a lot...well, at least I'm learning.

That last win my team was pretty pissed at me because I stole a few kills mid. We had a Yasuo mid--the first kill I got was a legit kill secure, where I wasn't sure if he would get the kill so I ward hopped into a Q. The second time was when I cleaned up during a countergank--I passed by mid on my way to blue before it happened and he was extended pretty far so I figured there was no kill. After I did blue, I looked mid and saw that Shaco ganked so I went in to counter--Yasuo died, I cleaned up Nidalee.

Yasuo got really pissed after that second one. I think he was in a premade with our bot lane, since they all started trolling me pretty hard after that. I literally gave Yasuo a kill a few minutes later when I kicked Nidalee backwards, but he just walked away and let the tower kill me before actually going in, just to deny me the assist. Bot lane didn't listen to my dragon calls, none of them listened to my baron calls...it was all just a mess.

The bright side is, I snowballed top early by baiting Shaco into a kill, I snowballed mid by killing Nidalee twice and giving Yasuo free gold, and I peeled pretty hard when our Cait got caught a lot.

Most toxic group I've seen in a while, but whatever, I won. ¯\_(ツWink_/¯

Yesterday was awesome. I got a deathless match as draven, won a ranked match with jinx, and managed to convince someone in a match the awesomeness that is nami.
very good.

How was your day? - League of Legends edition - Mandalay - 2014-03-22

I just played a Dominion where our Nasus was afk for the first 2 minutes and came back to politely explain "sorry, my kids needed something."

Friendly Karma rages up an absolute pomegranatestorm saying "wtp report, don't play league if you have kids to tend to."
Friendly Karma then turned it into an atomic bomb drop in post-game chat: "pineapple ur kids"

My faith in humanity plummeted.
