Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Dudewitbow - 2014-12-07

I dont believe in the adapter nonsense. other retailers(gamestop) iirc have stated that they would be getting more soon. the negative backlash that nintendo would receive for the adapters/amiibos would hurt them immensely and support from other groups would dwindle. It's simply just poor oversight on actual demand calculations on nintendo's side.(or a manufacturing problem). There is absolutely no way nintendo is going to let something that was essentially unable to be purchased on game release day to not be purchased at all.

As for the situation in canada, shrugs

Some of the discontinued Amiibos are already selling for 30$+ at Amazon

Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Corn - 2014-12-07

Gamecube adapter discontinuation is a lie spread by a stupid Gamestop employee.

So is the discontinued amiibo nonsense. There has been absolutely no official word by nintendo, and they would NOT cut production of a product after literally ONE wave. Quit believing and spreading this nonsense. >_>

I'm going to have to agree, I need official confirmation because lack of sales is a real pitiful excuse to give to a product, especially when they just started. Not even Activision and Disney ever pulled this shit with Skylanders and Infinity.

Of course, the rumors is false.

talking with an official nintendo employee over here (which is a long way from the top so take this with a grain of salt) he told me that several of the amiibos would stop being made after a while, for example mario and pikachu would keep being made but others like marth and villager would stop after a while.

I had an EB Games employee tell me the same thing on the 21st.

So has anybody tried Palutena with Lightweight and Super Speed?

So in short, it was a rumor that people overreacted to.

I mean I don't know why Nintendo would just stop producing a product that literally sold out almost everywhere. Demand is unbelievably high still

that's my usual setup, superspeed so good, you can dash attack for invulnerability, pivot grab, if the superspeed connects you can combo into neutral A or down A (if you're absurdly good) or up-A, superspeed is too good.

There's also super speed to up smash Smile

Lightweight is so fun too. Can do some pretty crazy combos with it since you can jump so far.

Here are my main 4 Miis, how are they? Unarmored Gisela is my best.

Arrol - Heavy hitting Boxer
Alum - Fast on land, just as strong. Based on mobility and ranged attacker.
Diello - My tank.
Gisela - My kickboxer. All speed, little punch. Based on aerial attacking.

you can also harass like a mofo since the chances of you falling down are pretty much zero, bair-ing enemies on the blast zone is awesome

Zelda is master hand confirmed.

The rest of her looks like really good quality from what i've seen though, especially on the face and dress (which looks like it is being blown by the wind)

So I just tried out the stage builder for the first time. I like that I can draw my own platforms. On the other hand, it felt overall more limited than brawl's builder. No ice or conveyor belt options just off the top of my head.

Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Miek - 2014-12-14

my stage I created
