Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Evolite - 2014-11-12 Shulk amiibo is gamestop exclusive. Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Lamato - 2014-11-12 That ToonLink Amiibo will be mine. I'm not even excited for Amiibos but ToonLink figurine? ToonLink figurine. Also according to SmashBoards, Rosalina is getting a slight nerf in the next patch. Luma will now have an approximate of 12 seconds to regenerate as opposed to the current 8 seconds. Also, I hear they're patching out item-throw canceling. pineapple. Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - MetaSeraphim - 2014-11-12 Evolite Wrote:Shulk amiibo is gamestop exclusive. Makes sense. Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Arrol - 2014-11-12 Just to let you know, the amiibos have limited space that they can only save data in one game only. Using it on another game will remove and replace the older data Super Smash Bros. If you turn on the Custom Fighters option, the fighters will be preset with custom special moves. The number on a fighter's portrait on the game board indicates which custom move set that fighter is using--this also adds to the randomness of this mode. ![]() Sakurai Wrote:Smash Tour is really hard to explain in words--it's tough to give out guidance tips with such limited space to type!! So I'll stop myself from saying too much--just try playing this mode three times with your friends. Smash Bros. will definitely feel even more like a party if you try this out. Anyone up for Mario Party, Smash Edition? Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Razmos - 2014-11-16 No Items, Fox Only, Final Destination , DK Bongos controllers only. Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Zerard - 2014-11-16 So I was bored and did a little research on the new music we're getting in the Wii U version and... not gonna lie, I was sort of disappointed. http://smashbros-miiverse.com/music A lot of tracks are taken directly from their game of origin (if not just reused from Melee/Brawl). Don't get me wrong- a lot of their selections are pretty good. It's just sort of offsetting to see that the music work for this game was kind of underwhelming. Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Corn - 2014-11-16 But the Pokemon remix music is AMAZING! Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - MariettaRC - 2014-11-17 Zerard Wrote:So I was bored and did a little research on the new music we're getting in the Wii U version and... not gonna lie, I was sort of disappointed. I noticed this as soon as I heard the Mother 3 music in the soundtrack (which made me go from happy to sad because I was just saying how the game was snuffed out in this), so I'm not at all surprised. A lot of them are pretty much directly taken from the previous games. Would have been nice to get freshly made remixes, but, eh, I'm glad they're at least being represented somehow. Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Lozmaster - 2014-11-18 Zerard Wrote:So I was bored and did a little research on the new music we're getting in the Wii U version and... not gonna lie, I was sort of disappointed. Eh, sucks, but I guess I'm not surprised. It's not a secret they assigned lower importance to literally everything other than the characters. It's good for what it is, but could have been so much better. Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Razmos - 2014-11-19 Quote:"I understand that DLC could add a lot to the appeal of Smash Bros.," Sakurai said, "and I appreciate that a major part of the excitement for these games come from which characters will appear in the roster, so I think fans could really enjoy DLC that could keep this excitement going. However, I think there might be criticism that we are cutting up content to sell characters one by one, or that we are adding things later that should have been there from the start.Link Basically people whining about DLC has put Sakurai off the idea of making DLC. I've even seen people complain about the Mario Kart 8 and Hyrule Warriors DLC, saying that they should have been in the base game, which is bullpomegranate as it was all developed afterwards. I guess people are just so jaded after other gaming companies handled DLC in a really bad way (like Destiny) Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Lozmaster - 2014-11-19 Smash bros is going to have DLC, despite whatever he says right now. "mewtwo" alone wouldn't take months to develop, and there were months between MK8 launching and DLC being confirmed. Then again, this is the same guy who justified removing the large portion of the single player basically because youtube exists. Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Dark Link - 2014-11-19 Smash Bros 1.0.4 unofficial patch changes http://smashboards.com/threads/community-patch-notes-v1-0-4.378404/ Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - MetaSeraphim - 2014-11-19 Hah, it's funny, my local Walmart here released the game early. I say released but what I mean is they put it on the selves by mistake. Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Link - 2014-11-19 Vectoring is no more! Woo! Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Justin - 2014-11-20 Link Wrote:Vectoring is no more! Woo! Why is that a good thing? There was nothing inherently wrong with it in my opinion. It's not even hard to do, so there's no real argument for it being an "arbitrary input" that just adds pointless complexity like wavedashing or L Canceling. |
