They're all really strong in terms of Japan meta. Not so sure on SBS [Global] meta.
Ramna and Ophelia are god tier for their respective elemental FGs.

Elza kept her smooth animation and there's very little delay before her hits, so she's the best spark buffer in the game IMO and as good of a spark blanket as Ryudo. The two of them should help push FG scores up even more. Zedus and Zenia have already lost a lot of relevance with Avant's batch, so Elza's main competition is Chrome. Tridon sub makes LS without HP more viable, so there's plenty of content where using her instead of Chrome is an option.

1.3m esteem on a 2 UBB run on Mid. 6-4-6-1-3 spawn IIRC. Mid definitely seems like the way to go this season. Even a 50m run isn't topping that and I doubt I could break 40m in mid.

End is only arguably better if you cannot score really high in Middle, which is only possible if you lack Dual Avant, and I guess Zedus.
Mind you End also gets nerfed in a couple seasons or so, which will make Middle farming king again.

I'm running Double Avant with Shida, Shera, Zedus, and Rize. Everyone is maxed imped Anima save for Shida (lord). Easy 800k+ esteem per run with only 1 UBB. I'd need 40m+ to match that in Mid. That requires good spawn and 3 UBB, so I'll be sticking with End.

! What... I tried the same team (Ultor instead of Shera) in End and barely got 700k esteem. Maybe my spheres just aren't good enough, or else I'm just horrible at sparking correctly.
That said 700k is still nice. Thank RNG for giving me meta units.

Ruby, Exvehl, Claire, or Nemeth Gear could probably work as your spark blanket if you don't have Shera. I feel like other spark blankets like Feeva and Zerafalgar have too much delay for this team. Alternatively, you could try using another hard hitter with a similar animation to the rest of the team.
That said 700k is still nice. Thank RNG for giving me meta units.

I'd drop Gazia for literally any other unit. His animation is ass. Do you have a SBB crit buffer? Kira, Colt, Griff or even Michele or Signas might work. Some of the 6* crit buffers would proably be a better option than Gazia if you don't have other crit buffers.

That's unfortunate. Gaiza misses out on so much spark damage that he's not really a nuker anymore though. You can easily out damage him with a 500% BB mod units that spark well, especially if they have higher attack stats. Guys like Toutetsu, Rhoa, Mahalu, and Ciara are all solid options if you have one. Mifune's still super viable too, provided you give him Four Bonds to keep his HP up.

Ark's animation is just as bad as Gazia's. Less attack and a lower mod too.
Depends on how many ubb you do since the crit damage cap is reached with LS and ubb. I only do 1-2 UBB, so I think BS is stronger. I haven't done calcs, though.

Put in my Shera instead and while my max went up to ~970k, my average on <6unit stages is slightly lower too.

Granted that "February" is purely speculation and is assuming Global gets a legacy batch every month, which Gumi has proven otherwise.
I think what's more funny is people are expecting Paris / Lugina 7* sometime in December when Global is still 3 maps away from that.
