About 1/3 through the shoulders they go blurry and I can't attack them. It keeps attacking so I'm usually knocked off the map and when I get back it's not a problem, but there's a door right there, so if I can just leave for 30s I'd go for that .

Postscript: Gollux is decent exp on non-head clears too - at my level I'm getting 7% on a 15 minute run that kills every other room (trash mobs are 120k or 170k exp each and pretty near 1hkos on my Hero - the actual shoulders/abs don't give exp) The crawly ones also give 10 ambition + 8 willpower, I maxed mine out in a single fight.



I said the other day that during the head fight (on easy) the death count didn't run out.

I find the abs have so many attacks that my best option is to just tank the ones that can hit the dead middle instead of trying to avoid. The two successful runs I've had were ones where I entered from the chest and didn't move an inch until it was dead.

well my first time i go there man... so hard the hand and the head instant kill you the moment you touch it

has a 5 sec seduce that is undispellable

you cant resist any of his abnormal status

he ignore all type of def and hp

the most dmg i deal probably like 20% of his hp solo

To be honest, once they fix the EXP loss and the random invisible 1hko attacks that seem to hit you no matter where you are, Gollux could easily become one of my favourite bosses.
