Batman Mafia - MAFIA Wins. - Dual - 2010-12-02 Well it looks as though my little ploy failed. Pooie. I was hoping Kajiti would make reference to a specific part of my post, but it appears I must have been wrong in what I suspected him to be. Going further though, I can only assume Kajiti to be town, because it would be very unfair to have a player trying to hide himself amongst the town all while being forced to post in such a ridiculous way. And thanks Yoshi, I wasn't on irc when that happened. lol Batman Mafia - MAFIA Wins. - Swerve - 2010-12-02 Every post you've made so far is seemingly strategic, has a reason, and has a slant. I became suspicious of you after post #161. In the Angry Dome it was mentioned that active players have a chance of being manipulated without anyone noticing. I was always self-conscious of such a possibility. I got an even worse vibe when you told me to stop when I started questioning Jon. I wasn't really doing anything new, at D2 information has been provided and Jon quickly drew suspicion. I wanted to clear him of that suspicion so I pressured him with vote-cornering. I think that Jon is a townie, but I speculated that he wasn't just to weigh in on the participation of other users. I haven't really changed my style, I'm just using different tools to find information that I need. It is funny that you were the only one who was upset by me pressuring Jon and told me to stop it. Again you've masked it very well because you're very smart. But that is precisely why you are a dangerous threat to town and I think that you are scum. You don't overdo it. You seemingly play it off. And you say just the right amount of things without going overboard. I may still be hesitating to go for a lynch this round. But you really rub me off the wrong way. I should really be sleeping, but... That means nothing. Batman has access to Kryptonite; if he arrested him, it's just flavor. Though I'm not exactly sure what you meant by that anyway. Batman Mafia - MAFIA Wins. - Swerve - 2010-12-02 I think I agree with xBTAx that it could have been flavor. He also may not have been intentionally killed by Batman (mafia) N1, but rather accidentally. But you really rub me off the wrong way.-Rubs Swerve the right way- <3 Post 161...161...That's another thing, instead of saying "Post XXX," it'd be a whole lot easier just to quote the post in your own post since you obviously already know what post it is. >.> I'm not really sure what made you suspicious of me from post 161. Just some basic replies from people replying to posts I made, and a comment on Mute's mistake in the vote count. And then a comment on my reads so far. Your thorough involvement in the game made you a very likely townie, while Meta's scumminess (for reasons very similar to Darkmaniak's, might I add), made him a likely scum. That's one of the things I partially hinted at in the post I made at you. It's much better to comment on your reads instead of questioning people incessantly. Don't be self-conscious. Being self-conscious will only cause you to hide behind the possibilities, the "what ifs" of the game. You'll force yourself into terrible WIFOMs and question yourself in situations where you need not question yourself. You need to be strong in a mafia game. It wasn't necessarily Jon that I told you to stop questioning. As I had read back I noticed that you had questioned almost everyone that had posted. Quite frankly, it got on my nerves, especially seeing you double/triple post questions that had answers that were quite obvious. As I said, it's much more beneficial to infer meanings instead of questioning. I'm not trying to manipulate you here (...that sounds terrible, I know.), I'm trying to teach people some good habitual practices to get into. Quite frankly, I didn't believe Jon was going to draw any sort of attention. I barely noticed him post at all. I thought that it was Corn who bandwagoned the vote on Darkmaniak after I voted him at the start of this day. And I don't read the dead/offtopic thread because I find it meaningless. I'm sorry if I appear to "say the right amount of things," but that's how I like to play. I like to have fun with these games. I like to add snippy little comments to the beginnings/ends of my posts, I like to and flare, to add flavor. It's just how I play. :/ Batman Mafia - MAFIA Wins. - Dual - 2010-12-02 I know it may just be flavor, but I'm inclined to believe the Kryptonite was put there by Jon, as he stated he found Superman last night. I don't know if anyone would be informed of him putting Kyrptonite on them, so I can't be sure if asking him about his N0 choice would have any relevance. And Kurtle's death was most likely not accidental, the mafia probably targeted him, not knowing that he was the man of steel. And seeing as we have Lex Luthor and Superman, I'm inclined to believe there can't possibly be more than one more neutral in this game, if there is any. Batman Mafia - MAFIA Wins. - y0y0y0y0shi0 - 2010-12-02 DualReaver Wrote:I know it may just be flavor, but I'm inclined to believe the Kryptonite was put there by Jon, as he stated he found Superman last night. I'd say "removes Armor", but his role PM mentioned none. ...and damn, is it really 2AM? Batman Mafia - MAFIA Wins. - Swerve - 2010-12-02 @Dual Reaver: The presence of a role manipulator unsettles me. Am I the only one who thinks that there could be a bus driver? We already have a role blocker as a role manipulator. Think about it. At the moment I think it is best for town to not reveal their roles until D3/D4/D5. I think that keeping our roles an absolute secret will give mafia a disadvantage. Sorry. I went a bit off topic on that response. Sorry. @y0y0: Point taken. I won't be going for lynch, but I will be watching. If you are town, then you are as Mephisto put it, "smart" and invaluable to the hunt. To be honest you didn't fall for my trap in which I was attempting to make you fulfill two conditions when I started attacking Corn. [A] Become involved in my vote choice and[B]to be the first person to vote for Corn along with me. You only fulfilled one of my two expectations. I don't think that Corn is scum at the moment. Getting on his case actually helped me to solidify that belief a little bit. I wanted to see how you would react because you don't usually talk to me, at all, when it comes to boards. You don't even talk to me that much when it comes to irc. When we started talking about Polyjuice potions and you became very involved in my conjecture, I was thinking that you were also working on a subdue meta game. I know that you stated to not play meta a little past #161 when it came to MetaSeraphim, which is something that mafia might would consider doing in a subtle manner that town wouldn't notice. Again you gave me a bad vibe. On another note, it could be me taking this game too seriously. I'm aware that I'm a naturally tight person as indicated in Post #97. I understand that attempting some advanced techniques such as thinking in advance, trying to be helpful, and breadcrumbing may not work out. But I just feel that it is worth it to try out various things my first time around the block. Thank you for trying to mentor me. You're very smart and I couldn't ask for someone who would spend time reading my into my posts this carefully. My mistake. I happened to read that as "knowing that he was the man of steel" instead of "not knowing he was the man of steel." I need to stop being a hypocrite, take my own advice, and get some sleep so I can stop being so tired and not be a mad fool. Thank you, Swerve. I understand that as it's your first game, you want to try a lot of things out. By all means go ahead. Just don't get too carried away with a point you're trying to make in doing so. Many subjects in this game are very debatable. Many techniques are used by many factions and lead to uneven reads...it's a very touch-and-go process. >Sees Swerve calling me intelligent and thanking me >Thinks he's being trolled >Reads post again >Doesn't think he's being trolled

Superman's weakness is Kryptonite. It causes him to become weak and lose his powers. I can only assume that's what it would have done to Kurtle if he was still alive, leaving him as a powerless neutral. @ Swerve: A busdriver is possible. However, if one exists, the mafia already know about it, as they'd see they didn't arrest the correct person. Batman held no knowledge of Superman's presence, so we can have no idea of if they targeted Kurtle or not, because the only person who'd know was Batman. So just needlessly speculating that they were busdriven onto Kurtle is pointless, because the only person who could confirm that would be Batman, who wouldn't tell us, or a busdriver, who shouldn't tell us so he can go about messing with Bats more, so delving into whether not it was an accident is irrelevant to our goals. Batman Mafia - MAFIA Wins. - Swerve - 2010-12-02 Going to call it a night. Annoying as all pineapple. Good to know I'm not the only one annoyed at swerve's walls of text with # posted quotes, or kajiti's senseless quoting. Anyway, since the votes aren't going off me I have no option but to roleclaim, I'm catwoman, I'm stealthy, so every night I can follow someone to tell what they did the past night. Yeah, this will probably get me arrested but I'd rather be arrested than lynched, since this means we can lynch an actual mafia today. I'll [vote]y0y0y0y0shi0 since he started the votes against me, also if he comes mafia when lynched it wouldn't surprise me one of those who voted for me is too mafia, giving us a lead for later.
