Ignorance is not always bliss. The fact is, they had a pretty awesome area in their reach, but they chose to give us a stupid one instead, and no discernable reason why. I would rather have nothing than Neo City, because at least that meant a sliver of hope for Neo Tokyo somewhere down the line. It seems he has left clues as to the location of his whereabouts. Talk to Han the Broker in Magatia to get started. Where in that does it say that that you don't get to Neo City through Han the Broker? RAGE AHOy - Grey - 2010-02-18 LemonLimes Wrote:I agree with some of your points but disagree with others. The problem a lot of us have is that they took something intended for end game level players and nerfed it for piss ant lvl 80's to enjoy. We were looking forward to the challange of Neo Tokyo. So what if half of us would die as soon as we walk in? I'm sure many of us haven't had the thrill of near death experiences while exploring in several months, perhaps years. Since I was hoping Neo Tokyo would give us two weeks of fun, which it would've and then some, I'm gonna have to guess that Neo City will only last a day or two before the hype, if any, wears off. If I were a around 70 with no higher leveled characters, I'd be estatic that I was getting a new area to explore, and I'm sure a lot of them are. I'm not really one of those people who rushed to fourth job, so I can't speak for them, but I know there are places I never truly got to enjoy on Feargit the first time. Though we can't enjoy a lot of the low level content on our higher leveled characters, that doesn't mean we shouldn't get any more. Being a person who continually creates characters, I've found use in some of those deserted areas. Sure the only reason I went to KFT on Feargit was the mount, and then after for the quests for my medal, but on many of my characters since then, I've used those insanely simple quests to level my newer characters. One of the main cons about Maple is the lack of leveling options besides grinding. It's easier and easier to get to a higher level without a constant grind, and if they could eliminate that entirely from the lower levels, they'll probably start with the higher levels, I see it as them working their way up. They're trying to make it, not necessarily easier but, more fun to level, this is a game after all. There's nothing wrong with knowing about what other versions have, in fact, I think it better that you do. If you compare it to growing up with no knowledge of anything other than your surroundings, having worldly knowledge is better. Expecting that you'll get the same content as other versions is a different story, though. There wasn't any indication that we were ever getting Neo Tokyo, so it's not like Nexon is letting us down or anything, we got our hopes up, and we got burned. Is there a possibility for us to get Neo Tokyo? If there is, it's extremely small, but the year is still young, there's plenty of fresh content we could get, we just have to be patient for a little longer, until then, we should just enjoy what we have rather than complaining about what we don't. RAGE AHOy - Dual - 2010-02-18 I for one would have much rather had Neo Tokyo than the new content they are planning to add for high levels in KMS. And I will stand by that statement even if the monsters drop 1b mesos for every one you kill. Wishful thinking? Definitely. Did they pay you to troll us? Really man, what's up? There's nothing wrong with having a difference of opinion, but how can you try to impose your views on us as though you don't even think our argument is valid? Yeah, we weren't promised anything and thus shouldn't have *expected* it. The best we could be is hopeful that a new high-level area with new high-level stuff would come out. It didn't, and in favor of helping a set of levels that already have a diverse set of enemies and bosses to fight. Now we're sad/angry. Is this really so crazy? RAGE AHOy - Sarah - 2010-02-18 This topic has gone on for way too long for no reason. Yes, you have a right to be mad because Nexon isn't providing you with high level content. No, you don't have a right to be mad about not getting Neo Tokyo because it was never promised to us, regardless of the mistake Nexon's representative made when addressing the thread which was completely unclear and left her open for these attacks. Yes, Neo City is completely inferior to Neo Tokyo in terms of drops and potential fun, and it probably would have been preferable to get Neo Tokyo. No, this isn't a real issue. Perhaps it deserved an angry dome topic but it's gone on for far too long in general and everyone is going in circles. Delusional and stubborn people will continue being delusional and stubborn regardless of the facts. If you want to stick to your belief that you've been screwed over, that's fine, but there's no reason to keep it up here. A lot of you have essentially become conspiracy theorists, and that's embarrassing. Requesting lock or move to Angry Dome. This topic has only served to post count +1 for over 10 pages. That sort of meso pump would make the economy suck even more. I'm just saying that no matter how awesome they could make the high level content they're adding, it will not replace Neo Tokyo to me. And I agree with Sarah, let's just let this thread die.[/COLOR] |
