SO, it's my birthday obviously. I had an impromptu make out session with cute boy, then hung out with a good friend. We went out and ate Korean BBQ, then went to a Korean-French bakery and had a slice of cake to celebrate. Then we went to IKEA randomly and walked around. By far a really great birthday, even though it's been so simple.

NYC Pride yesterday was fantastic. Ended the night at Skyroom NYC, the tallest rooftop bar in the city, overlooking Times Square.

Everything was amazing except for the part where I blew past my limits and, for the second year in a row, blacked out at Pride. Yay Chicago and NYC blackouts. Actually no because last night sucked when I came to on the subway at 207th street at 1:45 AM with work at 9. NOT. COOL.
So this morning was ROUGH. But I recovered well with coconut water + fruit smoothies + salads at work.

Honestly, it's no Devil Wears Prada internship, but it's getting there. I feel like a failure every day because I can't find half the things PR companies are requesting back - IMMEDIATELY - because I wasn't there when they first came in. Or, even more dejecting, I was, checked the piece in, and yet it's been moved 5000 times and is now in some black hole hiding from my view.
Destress -> Eat -> Destress more -> Clean -> Destress more -> Come up with a plan. Can't keep living like this.

Slowly rebuilding after the loss of medical school. Started waking up early to go do 20 mins cardio followed by weights. Also started using my biology degree and started delving into a molecular biology article my research mentor from undergrad sent me.

I thought my mom had $300 to help pay off my ticket until I start and my job and get my first paycheck (ON AUGUST 20 UGH), but apparently her bank closed ALL of her accounts on accident when she requested her savings only be closed.

So I had my annual pep which is like a yearly "evaluation", and my supervisor is reccomending me for a management training because she thinks I'm well over-qualified for management positions in the near future. SELF ESTEEM BOOST

Feeling pretty miserable today. Everything was going wrong at work, it was too hot for manual labour and the week is going far too slowly.
Monday felt like Friday, Tuesday felt like Friday, Today felt like Friday. It feels like the weekend will never come.
When i DO get home from work at almost 6pm, time goes by far too quickly and then all of a sudden it's the next day again and I've accomplished nothing.. and then it's back to work.
Just 2 more months and i'll be leaving... but then i'm worried about that too, because i hate change. I'm worried about moving out for the first time, and i'm worried about starting university and meeting new people.
Sigh, what a mess.
