Tridon / Zenia might be getting some changes. Frankly Tridon must get nerfed with the UBB stacking change happening soon, otherwise UBB mitigation + normal mitigation with Dual Tridon lead = over 100% mitigation.
It's really hilarious how the subreddit is blowing up with massive amounts of butthurt over this.

The stacking change makes it multiplicative. UBB + S/BB mitigation puts it at 87.5% mitigation and you can't achieve 100% even with Grahdens lead when against a light / dark enemy. The only difference is Tridon is a flat 10% mitigation that's additive, as far as I know, to everything else.
The only reason I would want Tridon nerfed is he ruins the challenge in everything that's not Trial X3. Yes, I know you don't have to use Tridon, but the problem is the option exists.
The funny thing is everyone seems to have forgotten that Alim has nerfed units in the past. Loch and Mega Blueizard both have gotten nerfs to their UBBs and I didn't see anyone throwing a massive fit over those so why should Global Exclusive units be the exception?

Why would Tridon still stack cumulatively with other sources of mitigation when every other similar LS stacks multiplicatively after the change? If that's a bug, it's reasonable and should be fixed. Nerfing something for bypassing a challenge isn't logical.
IDK anything about Loch or the lame blue dragon, but they shouldn't have been changed unless it was a bug fix IMO.

Well Dual Tridon is a passive 20% mitigation. Even if it was changed to be multiplicative, that's still 17.50% (8.75% + 8.75%) mitigation on top of the 87.5%. Yeah I know it doesn't really make sense to nerf, but Tridon's current state makes everything that's not Global Exclusive an absolute joke, and that sounds like really bad game design IMHO.
Loch had his self spark buff nerfed from 300% to 200%. Blueizard had his 50% ATK debuff nerfed from three turns to one, but they gave him a Ruby-esque buff on his UBB as compensation.

The multiplicative stacking wouldn't work like that. On top of the 87.5% from a 75% UBB and 50% BB, Dual Tridon would bring the mitigation up 89.875% if they stack seperately or 90% if the two 10% stack to 20% because of spaghetti code. It works the same way as ignore PDR in maplestory. 1-((1-0.5)(1-0.75)(1-0.1)^2). Furthermore, without UBB mitigation, BB + 1 Tridon lead becomes 55% mitigation and dual Tridon becomes 59.5%. In terms of mitigation, the change makes double Tridon weaker than single Tridon currently is... Overall, the mitigation stacking change hurts Tridon and makes him a bit less desirable as a lead compared to other HP leads IMO.
The changes to those other units are definitely unwarranted. UBB are still far from spammable and theirs are trash compared ones that buff the party.
Tridon shield stacking will be very interesting considering they are different elements. In theory, all they'd need to do is add a hierarchy for the shields or make them the same element, but I'm expecting hella bugs.

Probably because Loch and Zerafalgar aren't even close to being meta.
The Loch change wasn't too bad, in all honesty. You'd still be able to have a 270% Spark buff when he uses his UBB, assuming you've used his SBB beforehand.

That's true they weren't meta units. Granted Zera was semi-meta for Karl EX, but Tridon kinda took control of that.
Hadaron also got nerfed, albeit he really needed it due to soloing the game. It just seems silly that people are throwing out the "It can be considered a scam to nerf units." card all over reddit cause of this announcement when it's not the first time this has happened and no rioting came from those.

Can't do any content where DEF Ignore is prevalent (i.e. Trial 006). Also still bugs out when fighting against units that summon stuff, so it's not a guaranteed tactic.

Wow, I super derped, meant Aurelia overpowerd ass lol. She grossly outclasses Reeze's REC->DEF already as a 6*, so if she gets status management on SBB Reeze might be dead on arrival in global. It'll be nice having another unit with burst heal on an attacking SBB as well.
I can see Andaria becoming a unit with a crapton of buffs like Rivera.
