Derosis Wrote:It is true. 99% of bronzies are uncarryable. So disgusting :C

I wouldn't say 99%, it's not like all your teammates are going to lose bad every single time. Ofc if all your teammates lose and it gets past a certain point then it is uncarryable. If the people are as bad as you say then you can just kill them then take towers asap. Not like junglers are going to cover if it's that bad.

note: I was bronze 3 at start of season and 800-900 elo in season 2, plat now. Learned many things from streams and applied in order to carry. If something doesn't work I either drop it or find out why it doesn't work. Had to switch between multiple builds/champs to adapt because some are better if you just get fed while dangerous if not and some are better for teamplay but doesn't work as well in some elos.

A lot of things I learned in bronze/silver was wrong and from that I improved. You don't need to group as "5" and push mid all the time just because you got a really small advantage or group as 5 to defend a tower mid game unless they are really far ahead. You only dive if your advantage is extremely extremely high. You can constantly pressure other lanes and poke down the tower, take drags. If they engage on you guys, then you guys should win if you are ahead, else if you are defending under tower. You guys will be even and someone can probably take a tower in another lane.

Like stonewall said in a video, many players in bronze/silver lacks knowledge, even if they are mechanically good. They lack knowledge of the game. They underestimate unpopular champ picks like urgot/poppy/skarner and they when they get crapped on because urgot/poppy/skarner does a craploads of damage. They are like holy crap how did I lose to x pick. They also do things like attack you even if you have 10+ minion advantage. Showing that they know little about how much damage minion aggro does to them and they just start running at low hp because they do not know their damage output.

Btw I forgot to mention to I was playing with a buddy. I literally just played some soloQ games to help my buddy out teaching him support. I played every role, minus carry jungle & support, and I couldn't even get the team fed. They mostly let them all go lol.

in low elo you just take all the kills and then take objectives yourself, when your teammates die/leaves. Always tax the lane and push to tower. Get as much damage on it as possible. Start doing things by yourself so that the opponent is behind even though your laner might be behind as well. Don't go too much into tank/teamplay champs, go for snowballing ones that can dominate and just destroy towers. In your game it's uncarryable. But I mean over long period of time, if you are good. Your win rate should rise easily. Even in gold I had people feed, but it's my job to carry them now isn't it? Always assume your lanes will lose. As you rise up the ladder you can depend on your teammates more, but at best you can only assume they can go even(being able to hold and do as well as the opponent)

Connor Wrote:No gapcloser definitely hurts him. The new triforce is amazing on Trundle as it lets him stick to his target easier, so definitely at the very least get a Phage somewhere in your build, preferably early if you can (Spirit of Ancient Golem + Boots + Phage would be a good base I think). As for ganking Liss, Zed, Ez you're gonna have difficulty regardless because they can just easily blink away. I guess keep on eye on them if they blink early and gank while it's on cooldown.

Trundle does excel at counterganking, invading, and duels though so if you can't pull a gank off yourself try and pick fights elsewhere or just cause havoc in the enemy's jungle.

Okay, I've gotten a bit better. I prefer Frozen Mallet over Phage, but Trinity is the main damage on my build. It is just TOO GOOD, and the Phage passive with a Frozen Mallet really keeps me chasing efficiently. I've learned a bit more on the range and size of my pillar and how to use it in tight spots (that's what he said?). Still learning when to level Q and W, but I feel that if they are AD heavy, prioritizing Q and grabbing ninja tabi is the way to go to really up my dueling potential. I'll have to do more testing.

Sidenote: using ult as basically an ignite is kind of hilarious, albeit inefficient. Seeing the last bit of their life flow through through the air as they die is... satisfying. *sadistic laugh*

That's good advice. I'm really considering diving back into ranked with my friend (what's there really to lose? Resets happen soon) and hope to aim for silver at the least (we're pretty sure we at least belong in silver). What kind of champions would you say one should focus on for carrying/focusing towers like you said? I have Udyr, Volibear, Jarvan, Jax and Xin Zhao for attack speed junglers, though I've only really practiced and Udyr and Volibear. I've been told by high level players that these two are really good to carry yourself out of bronze, silver and gold with, but are there any other specific junglers I should focus on learning?

They are all good junglers, volibear/udyr is good and can murder people but they are easily kited by slows unless you get tenacity and maybe boots of swiftness. J4 is the current popular jungler, because he has good early damage/2 gap closers, xin zhao is also good due to his base damage and can go tanky/bruiser. Tbh there are a lot.

Demoted! I keep getting teams with no idea of team comps and how to team fight/push. (ex. No CC, No true Tank, No engage, Master Yi's diving in 1v5 because they are somewhat fed Mad) the game i got demoted from I was the tankyest on our team as the freakingggg adc. Tongue

I really want silver before the end of this season I've even tried duoing with silver/gold level players but it seems even they cannot handle the hellish pit which we call bronze.

Don't need to teamfight, if yi was fed tell him to split while you 4 group. If you have no cc you don't need to fight. If you 4 are defending while yi pushes top, it's guarenteed towers unless they send 2 top, if they send 2 top. Take drag or tower elsewhere. Teamfight is for drag contests/mid-late game turrets after other easy towers are taken down already, If you have a weak teamfight comp just ignore drag. When they go for drag. Take tower.

Split push is the answer to some situations.

hence why i said team fight/push. Yi was just diving on the entire team without hesitation or thought. ;_;

What I am saying is teamcomp matters really little in solo q, it's the strat you use that matters. Sharkboy was silver when this season started and I was bronze. We duoed for a while then stopped. Now he is diamond and I'm plat. He easily stomped his opponents when I duoed with him. My advice to you to climb out of bronze is to stop playing and watch streams/let someone spectate you and point out your mistakes. Even at gold, everytime I went on tilt I went and checked my builds/masteries/runes. Watch streams. Maybe send a replay to someone to get tips. If I just kept grinding and grinding to get games I would prob be stuck in silver still. It's around silver 2, I realized that it's good to take a good look at what I can change even though my scores are good and decent. I changed my builds/jungle routes/etc multiple times. I looked at diamond/challenger smurfs and saw what they did, how much time they keep talking about securing objectives, ignoring kills, don't need to teamfight, don't start useless fights, gank early, etc eventually you get what to do in many situations. The time I used to watch streams probably cut my climbing time by a major amount, The main point is not to just copy them, but learn why they make their decisions and use that if the situation comes up for you.

All the time I spent stressing over ranked, all the time I spent with/against golds/plat in normals, all the time I tried to figure out how to become better and my 1st solo ranked game ended up being easier than intermediate bots.

Was that your placement? If so, enjoy it while you can. Tongue

I did one ranked game then stopped, felt that I lucked out because the soraka deserved to be lower than bronze V (went heal/TP, used heal the moment I did 1 auto's worth of damage, rushed swiftness/HG, didn't ward, kept getting caught out, only used mana to spam q, w'd and e'd minions).

First time playing Vayne ever, and I get a triple kill and 2 quads in an ARAM. Not entirely sure how it all happened, any fight I'd just ult, tumble in and pewpew everything that wasn't on my team for the most part. Would have gotten a penta except I missed pinning a Lulu to the wall by a fraction of and inch, then she sped up and ran away Sad

How was your day? - League of Legends edition - Mandalay - 2013-09-25

Bought Vayne today, and I tried Akali using this guide, and it works out pretty well.

So fun shitting all over enemy champions with her R.

Definitely going to buy Akali next Big Grin

A bit frustrated to find that I suddenly have about 30 ping higher than usual (190-210 vice 160-180 range). Avoiding Ranked until I can figure out what's going on with my ne - 200 ping is the point where skillshots jump around or disappear mid-flight for me.

How was your day? - League of Legends edition - Dredragon - 2013-09-25

The servers have been lagging out the ass lately, pretty sure we're not the only ones feeling it, right hongyu?

Maybe it's this then. 200 ping is the threshold where the game becomes essentially unplayable for me.[/COLOR]

I think I jinxed myself. Just as I say I haven't had any bad games as Udyr in the past couple of months, I have two really bad ones in a row. ._. Bad day today on League. I just couldn't perform today. It really pisses me off. All I want to do is improve, but tonight showed me I have far too much to improve upon.
