At the meet-up, I was THAT PERSON who got the "left their lights on" announcement :<
Sad part is, I didn't leave them on. My car just hates me and decided to break the rubber stopper that turns the brake lights off. I've been holding it in there with gum for weeks.
I went outside to fix it this afternoon and it SHATTERED INTO FUCKING PIECES. My brake lights are now being turned off by a folded napkin held by old gum :l

Long story short it's so bad. I sound like I'm 68 but it's seriously the worst pain I've ever had in my life, as in, like I said, moving anything below my abdomen down hurts. And considering my job is pretty physical and sprains/strains like these heal in different time periods for everyone, I'm really scared of how this will affect my internship. I hope that, at worst, I just miss Monday, which would still suck because they need me in early, but I'm really worried that it will affect me for much longer, incapacitating my birthday next weekend and potentially my internship as a whole.
Fingers crossed and, yes, prayers that I get better soon. Oye I hate this.

thankfully a colleague didnt mind taking my shift this coming monday. I feel terrible but on the bright side, my runny nose stopped but the horrible coughing is still here. Hearing on my right ear is fucked up too. Other than that, being stuck at home, without any activities has got me to learn a few things about wordpress and i think i should be able to integrate something ive been working on with it. i know theres gonna be alot of problems but bring it.

Basically, the guys from my university kept giving me different dates I should turn in my written report for my internship. Then I finally called the woman responsible for the masters degree I'm taking and she confirmed me it would only have to be turned in in the end of August. Now today I get this email from the other guy responsible for the master degree telling me I'm late and should have sent my report last Friday, and that I needed to send it before tomorrow morning or I couldn't have my oral.
And I couldn't even postpone my presentation because the other date is already after I'm back to Brazil and back to my home university.
So my boss sends an email and gets them to compromise and accept my written report until this Thursday. Thank got I had already made pretty much 90% of it already, so it won't be too hard to finish it by the end of the week.

I feel great. I'm not sure if it's the change in diet, the constant evaluation of the self-destructive attitude I have held for years, that week-long holiday to Sweden I recently went on, the much needed and allowed cut-off from the life of perpetual stress and inevitable failure that was my last year at uni or me deluding myself in a descending spiral of bipolar madness, but I feel great nonetheless.
Feels like my brain hasn't had to process this much dopamine in years, I'm not used to it at all. Tripping balls on life @_@
