I have 2 hell runs left on my merc. I'll take u guys if you're on just ask me. Add my acro to your friend's list too cause i'm goin to be on him a lot (Ovadrive)

Kaasoljoyyx Wrote:Your acrobat isn't 35 so I guess it's excusable, but level 0 butterfly float (spindle top, top spinning) is like

- A bishop that doesn't get heal or HS
- A night lord that doesn't have lucky 7 or triple throw
- A bowmaster that doesn't get hurricane

List goes on and on. Butterfly float is like one of the godliest skills an acrobat could ever get. For a PvE build I would do this

http://dnarmory.com/skill-calc?i=2-15-40#OSTIJwpuOpPrJbHJH

Notes

- Add 1 point into magic arrow for PvE preference or definitely for PvP
- Chain tumble level depends if you PvP or not. If you PvP, get chain tumble to as high as possible. For PvE, it's personal preference
- Add the point into your ultimate + add points into the respective kick shot or spiral kick with leftover points
- If you're doing PvP, add more into twin shot. Otherwise level 1 is fine.

lol I didn't put a point in cause raizoo didn't have one in his build. I'll look over what I was doing again

*looks at Alchemist skills*

Oh god dang you, Eyedentity Korea. Alchemists seem even better than Priests at healing now, and will most likely deal far higher DPS at that. What the hell is 30% magic damage heal per tick over 15 seconds with 55 second cooldown? And that's not even mentioning their other heal skill. I hope this isn't the start of a trend. :/

Ah well, at least we still have our HP and defensive buffs.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2012-01-03

what are their skills?

and what are the odds of dnestsource and dnestarmory both being down? lol

They also have res ^_^

Yeah they both are, which is pissing me off because I wanted to see what some of the higher sorc sets look like so I can decide if I wanna buy that santa top or just use defaults.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2012-01-03

sorc santa outfit is so hot. I love it. Too bad the warrior one is ugly booty lol

I think only the hat looks like ass for the warrior, but then again most of the helmets in the game look like complete ass. I saw the Green Dragon set for warrior and loved the ''Megaman-like'' shape, but the helmet is just fucking gross. Thank god for costume switch options so the helmet can be invisible.

Actually, it sounds like they don't. Even if they had a res skill, I'd bet Eyedentity would nerf it to the point of uselessness. Like, it can't be used in places where it actually matters (or it will only give them an excuse to make the Dragon Nests have even more stage obstacles that wipe out the entire party at once, and the Alchemist can't res the party if she's dead) and have a silly cooldown on top of that.

ya I think I agree with that. The outfit isn't too bad, but the red nose + antlers = yuck

btw, are there videos on alchemist yet?

I saw a video of a level 50 gearmaster soloing Archbishop, it's somewhere on youtube, sec.

Unless those are two different classes, in which case, disregard.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2012-01-03

yah I think alchemist is a brand new class that uses summonings and magic.

So you are telling me I can be the little girl AND have summoning? My two favorite things combined into one, sign me up!

Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2012-01-03

well I don't know if alchemist is a little girl. I know it's going to be more like a toxic sorceress though.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - 案山子 - 2012-01-03

Gearmaster is the ''physical'' Academic, whereas Alchemist is the magic path.

When Academic was released it was basically unfinished, with no 2nd job option that all other classes have; e.g. Warrior: Option (1) - Swordsman, (2) - Mercenary. Alchemist is the 2nd job option for Academic which uses the ''bubble launchers'' instead of the cannons.

The bubble launchers are more magic-oriented, whereas the cannons are more physical-oriented.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2012-01-03

oh ok that's my bad then. I thought it was a new class not the 2nd branch of academic

Original Dragon Nest Thread - raizoo - 2012-01-03

iirc Alchemists aren't released until the 5th in KR DN. So wait a week to see one at lvl50 with OP gear.

Sorry, was in a rush. xd

Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2012-01-03

Hi, I'm new in this game ( i'm playing in the SEA server) and i would like some advices to start playing, i'm planning to start with a paladin because i think that i'll be alone a good part of my time playing.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - EarthAdept2 - 2012-01-04

Just mod the game for the santa suits Big Grin.

If only there was a version of the suit that had zettai ryouki \o/.

Unless you actually plan on spending that 30k NX for the stats.

Chicocl Wrote:Hi, I'm new in this game ( i'm playing in the SEA server) and i would like some advices to start playing, i'm planning to start with a paladin because i think that i'll be alone a good part of my time playing.

Paladins are good solo and party classes. They are one of, if not the lowest DPS class in the game, but if you're soloing, DPS is one of the last things you need to be worried about in this game. They are the best tanks, which means a lot in this game in the later levels.

Learn how your skills work. Don't just mindlessly spam everything as soon as they come off cooldown. I believe that this is especially important for Paladins, as it appears that they don't have very many attacking skills. For skills that you can't use yet, you can open up your skill menu and right click on the skill icon to watch a short video that shows you what the skill looks like, and probably what it does in terms of its attack range and so on.

Also, quest equipment sucks. Enhance equipment that you get from dungeons instead.
