I swear to god, I only took cs while my adc was dead or when no one else was around to take it. And I DON'T ks, every attempt I make is to secure kills.
EDIT: I AM SO FUCKING DONE WITH THIS GAME (for a couple of hours). Stop checking my leagues. Stop complaining I feed when I'm 0/2 support. But... but... Okay, that new Graves skin is so sexy (well, at least the splash is), but I've been paired with two of them in the past couple of hours, and they were both just rude as hell with crap cs, blaming me for leaving lane and saying, "bot was 2v1, stupid supp" when I'm doing my job and they have no map awareness even though I'm korean-tier wardbot. I now have a bad taste in my mouth for that skin, which makes me sad. I'm really, really trying to work on the support role and learn new champs and grow as a player, but dealing with people is even harder with this role, I think. It just... it gets to me, and I take things personally, and it makes the game less fun. I have no friends to play with, which would clear the problem up a lot, but I'm so anti-social, so it's a double-edged sword.
Oh yeah, and I am too lazy to go to the rant thread.

Ah, dear one, seems like you may overestimate your abilities in support.
My words of advice: assume your ADC is a little kid and you're babysitting him.
First conclusion: You can't leave him. If you leave him he'll die. Seriously. You're a goddammn babysitter. You can't leave a goddamn 9-year old alone. Even if he doesn't die the other babysitter and kid will beat the crap out of your kid, which is why the kid blames you even if it's the kid's fault that dies.
And quite frankly you have to focus on the map awareness yourself, and ping when someone's coming. The ADC is too stupid/focused on last hitting/unskilled to watch the minimap. Supports have it a lot easier to look at the minimap, as aside from the occasional poke and the constant zoning you have nothing else to do. Hell, ping for other lanes.
Not to mention your build could be better. Instead of Unholy Grail you probably should've got the Crucible, even if they have hardly any CC. And buying a Ruby Sightstone before the Aegis (and upgrading into Locket before the Glacial Shroud). Ninja Tabi instead of Merc Treads would've probably be better in that situation, too.

sightstone => philo => mobos => ruby sightstone => oracles + tons of pinks and greens => move really fast crown is the way to go; maybe a chalice if you're super fed.
whenever I ADC, I tunnel so hard on farming/not getting harassed that my map awareness drops to 0 (probably just me). Because in a bot lane there's two people you have to account while CSing compared to one, I divert a lot more attention to the lane than as a solo laner/support.

I do my best to poke when it's feasible, ward smartly, and trust me when I say I ping the hell out of the map for my adc, especially when I leave for a couple seconds to ward important spots. To avoid pinging the hell out of your adc, ward when you know your adc is rather safe (you're at your own tower and you feel safe enough to venture out, or you're pushed so much it's not like they're going to engage on you).

I don't feel safe warding while we're pushed, because it feels like we've attracted their jungler and I don't have proper vision (hence the need for warding) and he is just waiting in a bush for my squishy butt. This has actually happened several times. Even when I'm at our tower, I just sneak off to the river really quick and yep, their jungle is there waiting to pounce. Like, I REALLY want good vision for myself and my teammates, but sometimes it is just hard. Those are the times that I "feed." Any suggestions? Maybe I just don't play well enough to escape a jungler 100% of the time without wasting a summoner spell. Perhaps being more preemptive in my warding would be a good idea? I mean, before one runs out, just throw another green up so I never have that feeling of uncertainty. I don't know if that's a good idea or not.

...yeah you'd better ward preemptively. But if your lane was pushed and you were going to ward and met the jungler, you were going to get killed anyways if you didn't go to ward, so yeah.

i'm so used to teammates who are either just decent or really bad, that i'm not used to the teammates that are just a little bit bad, and how much of an impact that can actually have

yea hec is only good at snowballing a lead, If he gets fed he can do damage+tank people.
It worked well when I was in silver/low gold when people just let you gank them for free and I was pretty much 10 kills asap.
People are getting better now, no more free snowballing. So sej is good because utility/cc never falls off no matter how much gold you get.
