It is too soon to even name claim. Think about it. Knowing the name of a villain isn't going to help. Superman was in this mafia game just to show you how absurd a name claim would be. The fact that you don't account for this is causing me to suspect that you're trying to make me believe you're dumb town instead of scum since the two often seem similar in style.
As per my previous promise the reason why a role claim would be bad is because of the type of roles we have dealt with so far. The following is similar to the reasons why name claiming would be a bad idea. Insane cop? Safeguard? These roles are pretty funky. The fact that at least eight other people have similar powers should throw off a red light that there could still be major problems, even if town tries to work together. This is not even factoring the possibility that mafia could have similar abilities. The presence of role blocker alone should make you aware of how dangerous it could be if mafia knew how many and which abilities were used by which people.

And about nameclaming: I want to see which names double up. The mafias will have to come up with some townie name, and when they do not, who knows if someone will object?

Corn I modified my post in #263 and added a second paragraph as to why role claiming may not be the best move for town at the moment. The best thing to show town right now is not a role as stated previously, but previous logs where you have been scum to prove that your claim is true. Then we can look it over and see if the claim you have made in this post is a lie or not. To repeat, do not role claim yet. I'm suspicious, but that does not mean that everyone else must subscribe to the same opinion. You should present your information first and then let people decide. I will also read your case and possibly reconsider.

Anyway, I'm kind of suspicious of Corn right now, on most games he would've role claimed already, yet he hasn't... Makes me think that he's mafia and not calling it for obvious reason.
Darkmaniak's original vote on Synthesist was supposedly an RNG vote, yet is was kept there throughout Day 1 even as votes swayed, with no mention as to why that was done.
