LOL nice video >_> but yeah they don't have the hp to be sacrificing during the buff time period for the extra power.. I think they use the hp to get the buff like Kaida was saying..

Q: By this, do you mean after Final Cut is activated, your HP will decrease by a certain % (100% HP –> 65% HP at max level) for a period of time, or does it consume a certain % of HP (65% or 35%) like how you consume MP if you use that skill?

Kyo, what does Final Cut do to your HP? Does it reduce your MaxHP base or does it use HP to activate it? Just curious.

It uses a certain amount of HP upon casting the skill.

(You charge and wait till the gauge bar is full, you release the power, your HP decreases and you obtain the x2 attack buff)

You need to have enough HP to use it, if you don't have enough then you can't use it and you will have to use a potion to recover your HP.

I think the cooldown makes it somewhat balanced though since they can only use it 60% of the time. Their damage doesn't look that great without the Final Cut buff.

Their damage is still high regardless of Final Cut.

Can final cut be dispelled? if so that should take out a lot of their firepower on bosses that do dispell.

ahhh yeah thats a good question.. but even if it does get dispelled it wouldnt remove that much firepower from their arsenal because every boss that does dispell has times that they do it at so timing should fix that issue. Also the invincibility frames should help dodge that as well right?

Under the case that chains works on mobile bosses (holy pomegranate overpowered), which we've yet to see since no pap solo has been recorded, i doubt dispel would be much of a problem at pap. Can't really say for other bosses though, but that wouldn't matter because DBs are strong on their own. Not like final cut makes the class.

yeah pap is weak shyt now so they dont even need to double the dmg with final cut to take him out fast.. dispel at ht is timed and if you know the times you can time your final cut usage appropriately so it won't mess you up (thats IF final cut can be dispelled).
