Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - ShinkuDragon - 2014-09-14 Hypermug Wrote:I saw the code, but my 3DS had to update...which took forever >_>; Congrats to whoever got the code!hopefully not a guest :X Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Lozmaster - 2014-09-14 TheTempest Wrote:Can't you switch the movement controls from circle pad to D-pad in the full version? According to people playing the JP version, no. BEsides, if you're not an insanely violent smash player, you should have no problem not breaking your 3ds... IF they could survive KI:U, they'll survive smash, no problem. Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - CrimsonJohnny - 2014-09-14 Kevo Wrote:Question for everybody: whom do you all plan on maining/playing? Pikachu, all day, every day. Ever since Melee. Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Blake - 2014-09-14 Even though it's limited, I'm really loving the demo. I cannot wait for the full version. The only thing that's throwing me off so far is the ledge grab thing since I am sometimes legitimately just trying to get back up and can't due to slipping off. As far as who I'll play.. Well, Lucas is gone.. So I'll probably either pick Pit or one of the newcomers like Shulk or Robin. Not entirely sure yet. Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Evolite - 2014-09-14 Lucas' spirit lives inside Ness' custom special moves. Ness gets PK freeze, explosive PK fire, piercing PK thunder, and forward PSI magnet Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - MariettaRC - 2014-09-14 It WAS going to be Lucas but now that dream is dead... So probably Ness, Peach and Villager. Evolite Wrote:Lucas' spirit lives inside Ness' custom special moves. Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Sephie - 2014-09-14 I'll be playing Ganondorf probably exclusively. You all will be eating purple elbows and das boot. Maybe some Ike or Bowser. Though, the prospects of being uber camped by Duck Hunt on always-Final-Destination-because-For-Glory with WiFi latency/input lag is a scary thought. Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Worthyness - 2014-09-14 Sephie Wrote:I'll be playing Ganondorf probably exclusively. You all will be eating purple elbows and das boot. Maybe some Ike or Bowser. And warlock punch has ridiculous super armor now and custom moves make it come out significantly faster with more range ![]() And also: TOTALLY forgot about Lil Mac. his neutral a punch combo can put up something like 20% damage in one go. Definitely gonna try him out considering I suck at the air game, but love being ont eh ground (basically what he's built for). And Swole Ike too. Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Polantaris - 2014-09-14 Kevo Wrote:Seems like Peach and Robin are pretty popular here :p I suspect that's a rage thing. I mean, the thing can survive a thousand plus hours from people playing Monster Hunter 3G and Monster Hunter 4. If it's breaking from Smash three days after release, it's because people are being too harsh on it while they're anxious to win. As it is people toss controllers and such when they lose, is it really such a surprise that they're breaking the circle pads? Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Evolite - 2014-09-14 If my circle pad can survive kirby fighters, I think it can handle smash bros. Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Justin - 2014-09-14 Evolite Wrote:Lucas' spirit lives inside Ness' custom special moves. Ness gets PK freeze, explosive PK fire, piercing PK thunder, and forward PSI magnet That still pisses me off, you can't just give another character one's specials and be all "HEY LOOK, HE LIVES ON IN SOMEONE ELSE!" Just no. Lucas's tilts, aerials, and smashes are NOT the same as Ness's in even the least and had completely different mechanics and properties. Grrr I'm so tired of this "clone" bullpomegranate. THERE WAS NO REASON TO CUT LUCAS SAKURAI. Or Wolf for that matter. (i'm not going off on you, just saying in general) Rest in peace Brawl main. ;_; Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Evolite - 2014-09-14 We can still hope for that DLC rumor of wolf lucas ice climber... Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Kevo - 2014-09-15 I heard from somewhere that ICs weren't included because the 3DS can't handle having 4 ICs playing at once? Besides, they're no fun to play against

A leaker said ICs were changed to only one climber is playable. Overall power was buffed to compensate for the separation. Up B summons a falcon. Super Smash Bros. How exactly do they explain Rosalina then? That reasoning is total bull. Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Justin - 2014-09-15 Polantaris Wrote:How exactly do they explain Rosalina then? That reasoning is total bull. That's just how people are interpreting it. I personally believe climbers got taken out because they couldn't get them to work out and keep them balanced. Having that second climber and being knowledgeable on de syncing can lead to some pretty insane combos, even without chain grabbing / wobbling being possible. Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Lozmaster - 2014-09-15 Polantaris Wrote:How exactly do they explain Rosalina then? That reasoning is total bull. As I understand it, there's no AI required for rosalinas Lumas since it only copies your moves, whereas Ice climbers always had at least some AI in them Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Razmos - 2014-09-15 Yeah, I consider Rosalina just to have a unique way of attacking, Luma isn't a CPU like Nana was. It's just a conduit for her attacks, like Orianna from League of Legends I guess. |
